Mr. Ishaq Dar kindly clarify the following 7 questions relating to the facts regarding the Pakistan’s economy..!
1. Firstly, you stated on the floor of the house that we are taking fresh loan from the IMF to repay the old IMF loan.
2. You also stated on the same floor of the house that the loan amount from the IMF will be $5.5billion at an interest rate of 3%, which was exorbitantly high interest rate considering that IMF had already decided in December, 2012 to give loan on ZERO interest rate to poor countries. Kimdly inform which country can be poorer than Pakistan, who was unable to even repay its loans?
Your kind attention is invited towards the following news item titled “IMF extends zero interest rates on poorer country loans” published by the daily “Pakistan Today” on 23 December, 2012 detailed news available at the link :- http://www.pakistantoday.com.pk/2012/12/23/news/profit/imf-extends-zero-interest-rates-on-poorer-country-loans-2/
3. Secondly, you pledged on the floor of the house that loan terms will not be against the interests of Pakistan.
4. Then you increased the electricity tariff for the Pakistani industrial users by a whopping 70% to fulfil the IMF conditions for the loan.
5. Don’t you think that this power tariff increase will destroy our economy and create unemployment, as the increased cost of production of each and every item, under the use of the poorest of the poor, will make the goods highly expensive and the poor will become even more poorer? In fact, your this step will ever be remembered in the history of Pakistan, as the one and only top most action which murdered the economy of the country and pushed additional millions of people below the poverty line.
I am also afraid that your this single step may not forever seal, the fate of PMLN’s chances in coming to the power again, as and when the negative impact is gradually filtered down the line.
If I were the PM Pakistan, would never have approved this fatal decision of increasing power rates of the already limping industry of Pakistan.
5. Why you earlier mislead the nation that $5.5billion is being taken for the repayment of the old loan and now the cat is out of the bag and the loan amount is actually $7.3billion?
6. The above fact at #5 also proves that you also wrongly said that this loan was being taken to repay the old loan.
7. Hope you remember the maiden speech of the PM in the Parliament house wherein, the PM promised with the nation on the floor of the house, that nothing will be hidden from the nation. Then why you hid the fact that this loan is being taken NOT just for the repayment of the loan; and why you hid the fact that this loan amount was actually $7.3billion and not $5.5billion?
An early reply shall be highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Syed Nayyar Uddin Ahmad

Why The Public Always Repeat Always Welcomes Military Takeovers In Pakistan
IS THIS THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF ISLAMABAD OR OF PAKISTAN?
The National Assembly of Pakistan has at last unanimously passed the Right to Free and Compulsory Education Bill 2012; which is related to free and compulsory education for all the children from the age of five to sixteen, as a fundamental right; and its provision is a responsibility of the state.
However, our NA passed the aforesaid bill which is only applicable to the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). Now the general public is right in asking the question to the Pakistani National Assembly members, whether other areas of the country does not come under the Parliament? And why they have limited the partial and vital scope of the bill to the capital areas of Islamabad only.
The bill also bounds private schools. to give free education to 10% of the poor children in the vicinity of their school. In India. this ratio is 25% and since, we are much behind India and all other SAARC nations in the field of education, this percentage at least should have been 30%, and that too FOR SCHOOLS ALL OVER PAKISTAN AND NOT ONLY IN ISLAMABAD. IS THIS THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF ISLAMABAD OR OF PAKISTAN?
May be, our NA members are afraid of the private schools owners? So much for the love of the poor, by our parliamentarians.
May be, such performances of our Parliamentarians has created hatred for politicians and democracy in the minds of the general public, which always, repeat always welcomes military takeovers in Pakistan.
Revenge of the Prime Minister
Revenge of Supreme Court’s Punishment?
Since the Supreme Court of Pakistan punished our beloved P.M. (elected with a two third majority of the parliament) for a few seconds, he seems to have decided to go on a revenge policy, to punish the entire 180 million people of Pakistan, with virtual cessation of electricity supplies, in this extremely hot season.
And, after putting the general public on hot burner, the worthy convicted P.M. has himself left on a sojourn, to watch the Queen opening the session of the UK parliament.
I will request with my folded hands, to the honourable judges of the SC, to kindly condone the punishment of our beloved P.M., so that in return, the general public of Pakistan is released by the government from the perpetual sentence, of being condemned to the hell. Otherwise, the general public will remain hostage, with this highly honest & efficient government.
Moreover, it looks the government is hell bent to prove the U.S. Senator correct, that Pakistan is a failed state, under this highly competent government of PPP.
Pakistan – An American Recipe For Curbing Our Debt Problem
“I could end the deficit in five minutes. You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than three percent of GDP all sitting members of congress are ineligible for reelection. “
Why not put it up to Pakistani parliament!!!
Father of Pakistan – Calling the Nation
As they say, a picture is worth more than a thousand words, the following video about the plight of the grandson of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, speaks volumes about the apathy, of we Pakistanis, towards the immediate descendants of the Father of the Nation. Our callous attitude towards the family members of the benefactor of the Pakistani nation is pathetic, to say the least.
The federal & provincial government machinery (including the organs of armed forces, judiciary & the parliament ), all Pakistani citizens inside & abroad Pakistan , all political parties & all sections of media must equally share the blame for this apathy, towards the plight of the family members of Quaid-e-Azam.
When the government is already spending tax payers money to look after the former presidents, prime ministers and retired government servants and their families, why the family of the father of the nation cannot be looked after?
In this regard, the honourable Chief Justice of supreme court of Pakistan, Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, is requested to take initiative on behalf of the Pakistani nation and announce launching of a fund with the names of trustees & bank account number details for donations to mitigate (not one time but on continuous basis) the sufferings of the great family members of descendants of father of the nation.
Additionally, this fund can also help and assist the deserving Pakistan movement workers and their families.
