Minister Tarnishing Pakistan’s Image..!

Respected Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Sahab,

AoA.

Sir,

Your kind attention is invited towards the following statement of your cabinet minister, Mr. Riaz Peerzada, who is also looking after the sports matters:

Pakistan’s minister of IPC ministry Mr. Riaz Peerzada talking about the two PSL cricket players, recently caught for the violations of anti corruption laws of the ICC/PCB, has said that why to create so much fuss about a player found out playing just two dot balls for spot fixing. He (Sharjeel Khan) has not committed any MURDER. (Link of his video talk..https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DABQiJn0ku0 )

This also raises question why not to free all criminals from jails, who are not murder convicts.

Now please read below the opinion of the famous and world renowned cricketer Sir Viv Richards on the issue of match fixing:

Vivian Richards writes in his book “VIV RICHARDS” and gives his opinion on match fixing and its punishment at page 219, quoted as below:

Quote. “The problem needs to be taken more seriously and be throughly investigated. Anyone caught and proved beyond doubt to be involved in match-fixing should be given the maximum punishment, both within the game and under the laws of the country in which it happens. In my view, it’s a kind of treason, selling your country out. At one time that would have meant being put in front of a firing squad. How can anyone sell out his or her country for a few bucks? It is beyond my comprehension.” Unquote.

In view of the foregoing and knowing that you have a zero tolerance policy, when it comes to the image, reputation and prestige of Pakistan; and under the circumstances, wherein, your minister has openly compromised the sacred name of the motherland, you are earnestly requested to immediately ask the concerned minister to forthwith submit his resignation, for defaming Pakistan and making our country a laughingstock, which is also a blatant violation of the oath of his office, as well.

An urgent action shall be highly appreciated by the nation and will tremendously enhance your own personal image.

Best Regards,

Syed Nayyar Uddin Ahmad
PS. Kindly advise the concerned to urgently make strict laws for most harsh punishments on the crime of match/spot fixings in all sports in Pakistan.

PSL Final – A Suggestion

Dear Mr. Prime Minister

اسلام و علیکم

Sir,

As you know very well, the last few days have been extremely traumatic for the nation, resulting in depressed economic and social activities.

As such, the nation needs a tonic of high voltage cricket entertainment dose, to uplift the dampened spirits of its citizens, not only in Lahore (just for a three hours match), but in all major cities of Pakistan.

In this connection, there is a fervent debate going on in the country, on the pros and cons of playing the final match of the PSL-2, in Lahore.

In this regard, in my humble opinion, if the match is played in Lahore without foreign players or ordinary low profile “D” grade foreign players, it will take the gloss out of the PSL league and subsequently, also de-value the tournament, giving a lot of satisfaction to the inimical forces, who don’t want the cricket to flourish, once again in Pakistan.

As such, if you approve, the PCB may be directed to hold the PSL final in Dubai, with genuine foreign players; and immediately after PSL final in Dubai, a six matches series (with or without foreign players) should be played in Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Islamabad, AJK (which has a good stadium) and Lahore; to raise the morale of the nation, which is badly deprived of quality cricket and also suffering from the scourge of terrorism.

The format of the series should be planned in such a manner that for the Karachi match, the Karachi Kings should play with the final winner of PSL in Dubai. However, if Karachi is the final winner of PSL played in Dubai, it should play with the runners up of the final.

The same pattern of format should be used for Quetta, Peshawar, Islamabad and Lahore matches, as well.

For the match of the AJK, the Dubai PSL final winner team should play, with a combined team of rest of the four franchises.

The above format is sure to be a big hit with the cricket lovers in each city; and all over Pakistan, by providing a chance of their life time, to the local spectators, to watch their favourite players in action after a long gap of eight years.

This cricket series (may be named as Pakistan Cup) will unite the nation in an unprecedented manner, as all the five franchises of the five cities will get the matches in their cities; plus a big message of solidarity will also go to the entire Kashmiri population, as well.

Best Regards,

Syed Nayyar Uddin Ahmad

اسلام و علیکم

Since the last few days, our enemies have launched an unprecedented all out covert war against civil and military personnel and establishments, wherein, the entire country is suffering a bloodbath from East to West and North to South.

The attached video (link..cf06234d-687c-43f7-97f7-5a00f2ff30fa ) confirms without shadow of any doubt that according to the report of European Union Mandated Study by Conflict Armament Research, statement of General James Mattis, US Secretary of Defence and other international newspapers India is fully involved in sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan from Afghanistan by openly supporting ISIS. Now it is the duty of the entire free world to take strict punitive actions in the FATF and UNO to force India to refrain from destabilising the region.

In this regard, the above posted article of Cynthia Hall further exposes the declared intentions of Indian government to even explode a crude nuclear device using its proxy ISIS terrorists, to force China to abandon its CPEC projects.

In view of the highly volatile situation, it is extremely imperative that Pakistan responds to this emergency in a swift, effective and offensive manner, so that our enemies must know well and truly, that Pakistani nation will extract full price of their mischief against our motherland; else our enemies will have a satisfying feeling that Pakistanis are a sitting duck and they can destroy us with impunity, without any retaliation.

In this regard, kindly peruse the following article submitted to our government on 11 August, 2016 titled “Pakistan’s world war”, which is still very relevant, rather, even more relevant today, in devising the strategy to fight the scourge of terrorism, with proactive internal and external action plans.

PAKISTAN’s WORLD WAR
(11August, 2016)

Now, a time has come that Pakistan can not and must not allow this proxy war imposed by two of its known inimical neighbours namely; Afghanistan and India; to be just a kind of a routine exercise, to wait for the terrorists to attack, as per their will and evil designs; and after that we ask our law enforcing agencies, to go after them and their facilitators, with an iron hand. This sort of mind set will ruin us completely, sooner than later.

Offence is the best defence. Pakistan must inform the United Nations, Afghanistan and India that come what may, Pakistan will launch severe punitive strikes inside Afghanistan, on its terrorists training bases and on the Indian consulates, as well.

We must remember that when it comes to a do or die situation, especially for a nuclear power, then there is no going back.

Precisely, this was the reason that USA was absolutely ready for a nuclear war, when Russia planned to install missiles, in its back yard in Cuba.

Actually, the current strategy of our known enemies, to wage an out-sourced third party war, to disintegrate and degenerate a nuclear Pakistan, suits them as the best option, without any cost to our enemies.

As such, it is high time that our strategy is revamped and rehashed, to let our enemies and the whole world know very clearly that red lines of Pakistan’s conventional and nuclear thresholds have been crossed; and we reserve the right to use any and all weapons, to safeguard our national interests. This means clearly the use of nuclear and all weapons at our disposal, because we can’t sit idle and witness our own demise, without any punishment to the mischief mongers.

In this regard, if the UNO or the world powers wants to take steps to ensure peace on our western borders, we should have no objection, provided all the Indian consulates established, after the NATO invasion of Afghanistan, are permanently shut down, just as Russia accepted American demands, during the Cuban crisis. (In fact, before the start of the NATO invasion of Afghanistan the USA had accepted this Pakistani condition that India will have no role in this Afghan war on terror).

So, for a nuclear Pakistan, enough is enough. We must not forget that any all-out nuclear war between India and Pakistan, will not only be a complete annihilation of both the countries, but it will be an Armageddon, for the entire planet, as well.

As the matter is extremely grave and fraught with dangerous consequences, we must prove beforehand to the world the Indo-Afghan nexus against Pakistan, with factual statements of American leaders and scholars and other related water tight evidences and documents.

In this regard, besides the other evidences like the video of Indian NSA Ajit Doval, wherein, he is talking in detail, about his defensive offensive strategy and removing thorn with a thorn; the following must be used as a proof of the Indo-Afghan designs against Pakistan:

– In 2008, the Indian naval chief, Admiral Suresh Mehta, expressed concerns over the development of Gwadar port and had said, “Being only 180 nautical miles from the exit of the Straits of Hormuz, Gwadar, being built in Balochistan coast, would enable Pakistan to take control over the world energy jugular and interdiction of Indian tankers.”

– Senator Chuck Hagel, who later became US Secretary of Defence, earlier commented on India’s role in Afghanistan, during a speech at the Cameron University in Oklahoma in 2011, quoted as below: Quote “India has over the years financed problems for Pakistan from across the border in Afghanistan.” In his talk on Afghanistan, Mr Hagel reportedly said that India had been using Afghanistan as a second front against Pakistan. “India has over the years financed problems for Pakistan on that side of the border, and you can carry that into many dimensions.” He noted that India took advantage of tensions between Kabul and Islamabad for fomenting troubles in the areas that border Afghanistan.“ The point being [that] the tense, fragmented relationship between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been there for many, many years,” he said.

– Mr Hagel is not the only American to suggest that India has been using Afghanistan for stirring troubles in Pakistan. C. Christine Fair, an assistant professor at Georgetown University, made similar suggestion during a congressional hearing on Afghanistan in 2011.

– In June 2015 the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Bangladesh said “heard what my ears would never want to hear again – Narendra Modi’s acceptance of India’s lethal plan in the disintegration of East Pakistan in 1971, and its threat to destabilise Pakistan through terrorism.” His statement also proved that the specific aim of creating RAW in 1968 was to subvert the people of former East Pakistan and prepare grounds for the creation of Bangladesh for the training of over one million Mukti Bahini.

– The following text of India-Pakistan joint statement in Sharm-el-Sheikh between Manmohan Singh and Pakistan PM Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on July 16, 2009 clearly proves that Indian hand in creating mischief in Balouchistan was exposed right on the face of the Indian PM:
Quote.”Prime Minister Gilani mentioned that Pakistan has some information on threats in Baluchistan and other areas.”Unquote.

– The following news titled “Capture of spy proves India’s interference in Pakistan: army” reported by the daily Dawn on 30 March, 2016 (Link:- http://www.dawn.com/news/1248776/capture-of-spy-proves-indias-interference-in-pakistan-army) leaves no doubt of active Indian sabotage and killings in Pakistan, which clearly tantamount to waging undeclared war by India against Pakistan:

News:

The army has said that the capture of an Indian spy in Balochistan is a proof of India’s interference in Pakistan. “This is no less than the state-sponsored terrorism,” military spokesman Lt Gen Asim Bajwa said on Tuesday while releasing a six-minute video of confessional statement given by the spy, who identified himself as Kulbhushan Yadav and said he had been operating under the cover name of Hussain Mubarik Patel. The military spokesman said that Yadav would be prosecuted as per the law of land. Responding to a question about granting consular access to him as sought by the Indian government, Gen Bajwa said he was caught red-handed while planning subversive activity in Pakistan and a decision in this regard would be taken later. “We’ll cross the bridge when we come to it. There are lots of technicalities involved in it,” he said. He said it was a rare incident for a serving military officer to have been caught in another country. In his statement, Yadav said that he was a resident of Mumbai, where he was commissioned in January 1991, and belonged to Indian Navy’s engineering cadre. He said he held the rank of commander and his service number was 41558Z. He detailed how he entered the intelligence world and joined RAW in 2013 after which he was assigned the task of promoting unrest in Balochistan and Karachi. He had previously visited Karachi undetected in 2003 and 2004 from Chabahar (Iran), where he had established his jewellery business to conceal his activities. He disclosed that he worked with Baloch student organisations and other insurgents for carrying out his activities. He said Anil Kumar Gupta, a RAW officer of the rank of joint secretary, was his supervisor. Yadav said he was arrested on March 3, 2016, and was voluntarily giving the statement and cooperating with his investigators. Gen Bajwa said the primary task given to Yadav was to revive the dying Balochistan insurgency and sabotage China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Yadav, he said, was planning to attack the Gwadar Hotel where Chinese were staying and where there was presence of a sectarian organisation. The spokesman said they had planned to bring in 30-40 trained RAW operatives to coordinate and help in reviving the Baloch insurgency.

The world now must be informed that Pakistan is not in an ordinary war, rather, for us it is our world war, which is being fought for the life and death of Pakistan. Already Pakistan has suffered casualties of nearly 80,000 civilian and military personnel and about a trillion dollar economic loss. This type of war has not been witnessed by any other nation, in the history of the world.

Moreover, it seems that this fight may not end very soon, in the near future. As such, our civil, military and all non military people, will have to stand united in front of the terrorists, who are hell bent to fight this war, not in our back yard, but right in the middle of our homeland.

In any crime investigations, the first logical step is to find the beneficiary of that criminal act. Here, in Pakistan we have observed a pattern, which reveals that either, the terrorists have been targeting the GHQ, Naval and Air Force bases or indulging in specific targeted attacks on Sri Lankan cricketers, Chinese nationals and other foreigners, soft targets like pilgrims at far off places shrines, intelligentsia, polio workers, hospitals, educational institutions, busy markets, protestors on roads, tourists and Pakistani minorities.

All these operations are carried out (at specifically chosen vital timings) not only to inflict maximum men and material losses, but also to undermine Pakistan’s military power, sabotage CPEC, create isolation in foreign policy and inflict maximum damage on economy, sports and tourism etc.

We should not be so naive to indefinitely close our eyes and ignore the role of presence of Indian consulates, specially based near the Pakistan’s western borders with Afghanistan.

In fact, the terrorism in Karachi and the insurgencies of Swat and Balouchistan are a clear testimony of the Indian evil designs, being perpetrated through these consulates in Afghanistan.

However, Pakistan must clearly know that this Indian game plan, specifically designed to keep Pakistan bleeding for an indefinite period, will never cease, till such time we repay the Indians in the same coins, by devising a strategy, to fight fire with fire.

Therefore, it is high time that Pakistan officially warn India to immediately pack up all its consulates in Afghanistan, failing which we should also immediately take steps to establish our own consulates, in the border areas of all those countries, which share a common border with India.

The recent sudden increase of acts of terrorism, also highlights the importance of preventive measures to curb this menace, which is causing severe losses of innocent lives, material and reputation of the country.

In the cases of previous terrorist attacks on the GHQ, PIDC house & Pakistan Navy air base and other such incidents, it was reported that the gang of attackers were residing in rented houses for quite some time, in an area not very far away from their targets. It was also reported that the neighbours of these houses were although, suspicious of these tenants, yet, they kept quiet and did not tip area police, about their apprehensions.

Under the circumstances, there is a dire need for motivating general public, which must remain extra-vigilant, in playing their role of defending the motherland, by involvement of entire population of the country, to look out in their near vicinity, for the stay and suspicious activities of the terrorist.

As such, In order to make the stay of the terrorists at any such places, almost impossible; it is proposed to actively involve the entire population, to look out & hunt them.

This objective can be easily achieved, by the announcement of the government, that a reward of Rs. 100 millions or Rupees ten crores, shall be paid to any person, who informs the Police, about the terrorist(s) staying in a house, hostel, hotel, rest house etc.

If our war against terror and for our survival is to be won quickly, the entire population of the country, shall have to be geared up and involved in the task of watch and vigilance.

Last but not the least, as is done in many countries, compulsory three years military service law, must be enacted for entire Pakistani citizens, without any discrimination of rich and poor. Besides many other benefits, it will help produce a new generation of disciplined and physically fit Pakistanis.

Enigma of Dubai..?

Respected Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Sahab,

اسلام و علیکم

Sir,

The national disgrace caused to the image of Pakistan, when two of our cricketers were caught in violation of Anti-Corruption Code, during the ongoing PSL-2 tournament being played in Dubai, is something unpardonable and all those responsible for ruining the grace, image and reputation of the sacred motherland, must not be allowed to go unpunished.

In this regard, the PCB must not be allowed to brush under the carpet, this serious offence against Pakistan; by the tactics of media management, just to save its own skin and making the two young and budding players of Pakistan, as its scapegoat.

Already, there are signs that the PCB is taking a lenient view towards the whole matter by just provisionally suspending the two players, without taking any action against the concerned team’s management personnel; and also not taking any action against the PSL chairman (where the buck stops), who knowingly very well, all the pit falls of holding of such an event in the UAE, took full credit for arranging PSL matches out of Pakistan.

In this connection, some of the damaging affects of holding PSL matches in the UAE, are explained below, for your information and knowledge please.

1). Now foreign players, their associations, cricket boards and governments are even more adamant in their stance of not visiting Pakistan, on the clear evidence that if Pakistan is not safe for the full PSL tournament, how can it be safe for the players of foreign teams.

2). The self damaging decision of not holding PSL tournament in Pakistan, just to earn money for everyone else except the PCB (PCB got nearly Rs.3 crore after tax and franchises got way with over Rs.1 billion from pool money and guaranteed minimum payments, that too without Audit) has neither helped the revival of foreign teams visit to Pakistan, nor contributed positively for the domestic cricket, which badly needs revamping and big investments.

3). Wise Pakistani cricketers and administrators knew very well that since, the UAE was infamous for easy access of all types of unscrupulous people, if we staged our cricket league matches there, our enemies will leave no stone unturned, to entice our players, towards the violation of Anti-Corruption Codes, defaming Pakistan throughout the world. In fact, many patriotic Pakistanis openly opposed the idea of playing our league matches in the UAE, precisely for the aforementioned reasons.

Sir, the situation is more serious and the matter is much graver than it has been reported till now. There are serious chances that more players and administrators names may now be cropping up with the passage of time and after the forensic analysis of materials like cell phones etc., which are available with the investigators.

In view of the foregoing; and to save the prestige, reputation and name of Pakistan in the international circles; and in the name of transparency and accountability, it is high time that with immediate effect, the entire board of governors of the PCB may be replaced with a new interim set up; with the mandate to rebuild the whole cricketing structure in Pakistan, on modern and progressive lines.

Sir, the above proposal for the operation clean up in the PCB will greatly enhance your own image in the eyes of the general public and also no heavens will fall, as in the recent past in South Africa, when they found that the chairman and board members of their football board were all complicit in match fixings, entire set up was replaced immediately.

After the surface of the latest scandal of PSL, involving our two young cricketers, now it has also been proved beyond shadow of any doubt that the current management of the PCB has completely failed in absolute terms in handling both cricketing, as well as, the management affairs of the board.

Sir, last but not the least, as they say a stitch in time saves nine, if your revamping orders of PCB are further delayed, there is every possibility that a bigger international humiliation, more serious than the one which led to the arrest of our three cricketers in the U.K. may have to be faced by us.

Best Regards.

Pakistani Cricketing Downfall – An Objective Analysis

Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Sb.

Prime Minister of Pakistan

اسلام و علیکم

Dear Sir,

As it may be already in your knowledge that in all the formats of the game of cricket i.e. T20, ODI and Tests, our cricket team’s performance in international matches are gradually slipping from bad to worse; and now we are respectively ranked at 7th, 8th and 6th positions.

However, the most horrible reality is that the 1992 World Cup ODI champion team, will most probably, now can’t enter into the 2019 ODI World Cup competition, without playing the qualifying round.

In this regard, the alarming issue is not just the defeats of our men’s, ladies and Under 19 teams (which lost to minnows Afghanistan’s U19 team in December 2016, by 21 runs in Asian U19 ODI championship), but the huge margin of defeats, like our team getting out in 40-45 overs and losing Test matches virtually in 2 1/2 days.

Here, although, the PCB tried to stem the rot by:

~ Bringing in high profile and highly paid coaches.

~ Appointing highly paid senior cricketers at the helm of NCA and selection committees.

~ Increasing the remuneration and travel facilities of the players.

Yet, the PCB did not address the main issue; mainly, because the entire set up of the PCB has failed to correctly diagnose the real disease, afflicting our cricketing structure; and also because, no one in the PCB, wants to touch the hornets nest of the domestic cricketing structure.

Moreover, some wise men also wrongly think that National Cricket Academies (NCA) are the factories to produce world class players. Whereas, NCA’s are high performance centres of excellence, to refine and polish the players. NCA’s can not and can never produce players, who are born at school level cricket; and trained/groomed in the clubs and at various higher levels of domestic cricket.

The mother of our problem is our domestic structure, which is VERY BADLY afflicted by the greed, politics, nepotism and favouritism.

The PCB’s flawed system is standing and depending on votes of it’s affiliated clubs, districts and regions. Hence, the status quo fully suits the PCB.

The domestic structure is the production house of players. If we have to compete at world level, our domestic cricket should be made HIGHLY competitive, which can only be done by drastically reducing the number of teams in the first class competitions; wherein, the players will have to put in extraordinary hard efforts to enter into a first class team.

In fact, the entry at first class level should require so much efforts that after playing first class cricket in Pakistan, a player, when he enters the international level, should not feel any difference in domestic and international games. Otherwise, if a player is stranger at the very competitive international level, he will take a lot of time to settle down and perform for the country.

To achieve this high level of domestic standards, the PCB should invest maximum money on infrastructures, producing world level umpires, high standard of playing equipments particularly international level cricket balls, increasing remuneration of players, upgrading travelling, boarding and lodging facilities etc.

Mr. Prime Minister, I have written these facts and solution of our cricketing decline only after years of my discussions with scores of very senior cricket players, administrators, media persons and journalists, who have a consensus on the need of re-vamping of our entire domestic cricketing structure, which is currently only serving the vested interests of few persons; and also killing the abundant talent of the budding cricketers of Pakistan.

Concluding, it must be understood that the current PCB and its decision makers are neither capable nor they want to change the domestic structure radically. If my this statement was not correct then since 2013, things would have much improved. What the PCB top notches have always been doing in the past and will also repeat in the future, to change the captain or reshuffle few personnel here and there, for the sake of cosmetic change, so that the status quo carries on, at the cost of the prime national interest.

As such, Mr. Prime Minister, if you really want to see Pakistan’s flag flying high, in cricketing arenas of the world, for once; bring in a team of those committed and dedicated persons, who can give you a written commitment, to the break the status quo, by bringing in tangible revolutionary changes in the domestic cricketing structure and overall system of the PCB.

Best Regards,

Syed Nayyar Uddin Ahmad
