Who lost the semifinal between Pakistan & Australia? – The Pakistani team’s think tank..!

First of all Haider Ali deserved to be included and in group easy games he should have been tested. Secondly if you have a nuclear type explosive weapon and it was not used at the required time it is not the fault of soldiers but the leadership.

Even with this playing eleven after a very slow start when first wicket of Babar Azam fell on the last ball of tenth over at just 71/1 only 10 overs were left and if at that stage Asif Ali was sent in place of FZ he would have at least five overs to perform (because the other batsmen would have consumed the remaining 5 overs) and in those 30 balls he would have comfortably given a minimum of 45 runs instead he got out for one run caught in try of pushing the run rate. And Asif’s best utility would have been in the power play when almost entire out field was empty with only two fielders out side the ring and for a player like Asif he could have easily accumulated 80 + in PP instead of what we got was 47 and that made the difference.

I will again say our leadership played with traditional mind set and never allowed the out of box suggestions to be considered. Actually this is an era of SMART cricket which demanded that in case we were to bat first we must give our nuclear weapon the chance to accumulate maximum runs with his type of batting.
In a nut shell we lost the mind game.

To put blame on drop of a catch at the end of the innings is absolutely non sense. We know tonight Australians dropped many easy catches. The main issue was our score should and could have been 195-200 with this same team which our team leadership failed to visualise. To win any war innovation is the key which gives victory to a small army over a larger army. Otherwise larger army would have always won in the history.

FZ total score 55 with 32 balls
4×6=24 3×4=12
=36 runs with boundaries
55-36=19
In 25 balls FZ scored 19 runs
Now note Wade scored
41 runs in 17 balls

Main culprit is FZ who scored 19 runs/25 balls and only 3 runs in 19th over
Aus scored 22 runs in 19th over.
