well depends how hard or soft is the surface of particular glass,n so effect will be the same…..in another words,how the other person feels abt u,n effect will b accordingly…..if relations r sour or not in consideration…scartches will not even show on the glass surface….n these days there r one side glasses too,u can see only frm one side…pun intended…take with a pinch of salt…..
