A proposal for counter terrorism
As a safety and precautionary step, government must announce that with immediate effect, no vehicle of any type, including cycles and motor cycles etc., be allowed to enter or be parked in any bazaar throughout the country.
This is a harsh and very inconvenient step, but it may save many lives.
Who is really calling shots in India?
Rahul Gandhi’s severe chiding of Man Mohan Singh, reveals the true worth of the Indian PM, who looks more of a nincompoop stooge than a man in charge of the government.
As I have said earlier, meeting the Indian PM, will be a sheer waste of time of Mian Nawaz Sharif, who should deal directly with the Indian army chief, who is the man calling shots in India.
Civilians are used as pawns in India, by its all strong establishment, who recently came out in the open, informing the media that Indian ministers are on the payroll of the army; and that even MOD, was bugged by the Indian army.
Moreover, there is no doubt that the epicentre of all the terrorist activities, killings and destruction in Pakistan, is the Indian army’s HQ in Delhi.
Mr. Nawaz Sharif are you listening?
If America has a right to bomb using drones, people in Waziristan area, thousands of miles away from Washington, then Pakistan has also the right to bombard those consulates. which are hands in glove with the insurgents, who kill on daily basis our soldiers, civilians, women and children.
Mr. Nawaz Sharif, hope you remember once our Air Force had the motto “QATAL MOOZI QABAL EEZA”
Now, I must repeat, enough is enough, our brothers, sisters and kids are are being murdered in dozens and dozens, on a daily basis.
We can not stop these attacks on churches, buses and military convoys, by just sitting idle.
If its a war, then let it be a war.
The IG FC has very clearly said these consulates are mongering mischief against Pakistan.
This war can not be won without going on an offensive.
We can no more sit like a duck and wait for the next attack from a suicide bomber or an IED supplied from across the border.
Either, the border should be completely sealed and mined, or you may issue necessary orders to our forces, to attack and annihilate the consulates established along our western borders in Afghanistan.
Or as a last resort, short of attack on consulates, all ground and air traffic to and fro from Afghanistan must be blocked, till such time Afghanistan guarantees that its territory will not be allowed to be used by any country, against Pakistan.
Mr. Nawaz Sharif, hope you know very well that Pakistan is in a state of war for the last more than a decade, its people are badly bruised and exhausted and that offence is the best defence.
Now for us its a do or die situation, thus, you must act because action is better than inaction.
Indian PM’s Twitter messages and my replies..!
My replies to the Indian PM on his latest Twitter Messages after 12 Indian security personnel were reported to have been killed today in an ongoing insurgency in Indian held Kashmir.
1. @PMOIndia: “This is one more in a series of provocations and barbaric actions by the enemies of peace.” http://t.co/BJ8wKK01wt
Reply:- @nayyarahmad: @PMOIndia exactly we had the same feelings when Church was bombed in Pakistan.
2. @PMOIndia: We are firmly resolved to combat and defeat the terrorist menace that continues to receive encouragement from across the border. -PM
Reply:- @nayyarahmad: @PMOIndia Sir, pl also comment on the role of Indian consulates in Afghanistan in Swat, Balouchistan insurgencies & suicide attacks in Pak.
3. @PMOIndia: Such attacks will not deter us or succeed in derailing our efforts to find a resolution to all problems through a process of dialogue. PM
Reply:- @nayyarahmad: @PMOIndia no doubt your this statement reflects that it has come from a statesman. Fully appreciated.
Enough is enough : Pakistan must fight fire with fire
In any crime investigations, the first logical step is to find the beneficiary of that criminal act.
Here, in Pakistan we have observed a pattern, which reveals that either, the terrorists have been targeting the GHQ, Naval and Air Force bases or indulging in specific targeted attacks on Sri Lankan cricketers, Chinese, foreigners and Pakistani minorities.
All these operations are carried out (at specifically chosen vital timings) not only to inflict maximum men and material losses, but also to undermine Pakistan’s military power; and create isolation in foreign policy, sports and tourism etc.
We should not be so naive to indefinitely close our eyes and ignore the role of huge number of Indian consulates, specially based near the Pakistan’s western borders with Afghanistan. In fact, the terrorism in Karachi and the insurgencies of Swat and Balouchistan are a clear testimony of the Indian evil designs, being perpetrated through these consulates in Afghanistan.
However, Pakistan must rest assured that this Indian game plan, specifically designed to keep Pakistan burning for an indefinite period, will never cease, till such time we repay the Indians in the same coins, by devising an strategy to fight fire with fire.
As such, it is high time that Pakistan officially warn India to immediately pack up all its consulates in Afghanistan, failing which Pakistan should also immediately take steps to establish its own consulates, in the border areas of all those countries, which share a common border with India e.g., China, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar and SriLanka etc.
PAKISTAN PAINDABAD.
Mr. PM! You Will Have to Take Personal Charge..!
H’able Mian Nawaz Sharif Sahab,
Salaam.
The above mentioned news reported today on 10 July, 2013, by the jang.com.pk that Saudi Arabia and UAE are providing (interest free and conditions free) cash and kind assistance of $8 billion to Egypt, further highlights the importance of my three doable suggestions put forward for your kind consideration in my article titled “Mr. PM! there are three options to avoid IMF loan”. published in the daily “The News” dated 27 June, 2013 links:-
http://www.thenews.com.pk/Todays-News-13-23752-Mr-PM!-There-are-three-options-to-avoid-IMF-loan
http://images.thenews.com.pk/27-06-2013/ethenews/t-23752.htm
In this regard, vide my email dated 9 July, 2013 addressed to your honour, titled “Few Suggestions to Revive Economy, Fast Track Improvements in Energy Crisis and Nation Security Policy” the possibility and practicability of option No.2, of my above mentioned article was duly elaborated for the convenience of your finance team as below:
Quote. “Your kind attention is invited to my earlier email informing that the news that Abu Dhabi has planned a $50 billion investment in India; and the negotiations are at a very advanced level. Abu Dhabi has the WORLDS BIGGEST SOVEREIGN WEALTH FUND . Now considering the following plus points of Pakistan:
i. Pakistan is the only country in the world which allows foreign investors to repatriate 100% profit and investment without any hassle.
ii. There is no income tax on IPP’s in Pakistan.
iii. The Indians are severely annoying the Abu Dhabi people with objections on their deal of Etihad Air with Jet Airways of India, which will give EA rights over 37,000 weekly seats in India, after EA purchases 24% shares of Jet Airways. Pakistan must grab this opportunity and offer a suitable agreement with PIA. Indian Jet Airways is in much more bad financial shape than PIA and is owned PRIVATELY.
iv. Pakistan should also offer to Abu Dhabi, management sharing in other avenues like, Port Qasim, KPT, steel mills, OGDC, PNSC etc., in lieu of their investment.
v. Pakistan can also offer to Abu Dhabi to invest in new Islamabad Airport, expansion and development of other airports, helicopter and small planes air taxi service to and from big cities to many smaller cities and towns, and development and export of world class fisheries, corporate farming, export of dairy products, fruits, flowers etc.
vi. Abu Dhabi had a very long and successful JV experience with Pakistan viz., Pak Arab Fertilisers Limited. Now they can be offered such JV’s for Refineries, Oil and Gas explorations, defence related production items and air craft manufacturings etc.”Unquote.
Mr. Prime Minister, this news of cash and kind (interest free and conditions free) financial help of Egypt, by the KSA and UAE proves that Pakistan was deliberately forced to take IMF loan with very high repeat very high interest rate of 3%, coupled with conditionality’s. Further, it has also proved that we have completely failed in convincing our Arab friends and 49 NATO countries led by the USA, that helping Pakistan is helping the world and its neighbours, against the menace of terrorism, mainly because Pakistan is the front line state against this world war of terrorism, for the last 13 years. Our friends and allies should be cognisant of the fact that the more Pakistan goes into poverty and economic deprivation, the more this situation will breed the terrorists.
In view of the foregoing, Mr. Prime Minister, you are passionately requested to personally take the charge of the economic policies of Pakistan, vis-a-vis it’s friends, to save Pakistan from the stranglehold of IMF and the World Bank; and from the tunnel vision of our financial and foreign affairs experts. This is all the more necessary because business as usual will never deliver (like the lousy suggestions of increasing tax burden and enhancing utility services rates, so that the ages old policy of penalising the honest common man and rewarding rich scoundrels, continues in this tenure as well, which obviously is the best recipe of an early demise of ANY government).
Pakistan needs nothing, except out of box solutions, which is only possible from a fearless leader and not a timid person, because a timid person like Pervaiz Musharraf, can rule a country, but he can never rule the hearts of his subjects.
With Best Wishes and Kind Regards,
Syed Nayyar Uddin Ahmad

Kiss the Kids Don’t Kill them.
Tragic Killings in Connecticut US School.
President Barack Obama, wiping away tears and pausing to collect his emotions in an address to the nation, mourned the “beautiful little kids between the ages of 5 and 10 years old” who were killed.
The tragic school killings of children and adults in America is really an abhor-able act and must be condemned vehemently.
However, world must not forget the killings of GAZA children by the Israeli Defence Forces using American supplied F-16’s; and killings of Pakistani kids by the illegal American drone attacks.
Mr. Barack Obama, President of the United States of America, the humanity is also looking for tears in your eyes, for these unfortunate children also.
How to Minimise Corruption in Pakistan – A Proposal
In Pakistan, every body knows that we are no less behind any nation in corruption.
Moreover, we are also no less behind in raising hue and cry against corruption. But, the problem is that corruption can neither be curbed with hollow slogans nor by declaration of assets by the politicians and government employees.
Times of India reported on 19 November, 2011(Link:-http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Black-money-India-to-sign-agreements-with-42-more-nations/articleshow/10793795.cms) that After signing agreements with 48 countries, India will shortly ink pacts with 42 more nations to bring backblack money stashed abroad, Union minister of state for parliamentary affairs Harish Rawat said. Once these agreements are signed, India will be in a position to bring back black money stashed in different banks abroad, he told reporters here.
Corruption can only be minimised by deterrent legislation; which ensures that crime of corruption will not pay, neither in the short nor in the long term.
And effective judicial verdicts, like the one announced today by the Delhi court in which former Indian 86 years old telecom minister Sukhram, has been sentenced for five years jail, for taking Rs 3 lakhs as bribe to give a lucrative contract to a private firm in 1996. He pleaded for leniency in court on grounds of his old age while the CBI called him a “habitual offender” and sought maximum punishment for him.The 86-year-old former minister was held guilty for misusing his official position during his tenure as telecom minister in P V Narasimha Rao’s cabinet in giving a contract worth Rs 30 crore to a private company, Haryana Telecom Limited (HTL), to supply 3.5 Lakh Conductor Kilometers (LCKM) ofPolythene Insulated Jelly Filled (PIJF) cables to the telecom department.
We in Pakistan, must realise that our main problem is not the existence of corruption. Rather, the fertile culture which help breeds corruption pay, as the most lucrative and profitable activity in Pakistan.
Till such time, we attack the very roots of this cancerous culture of corruption in Pakistan, no positive improvement should be expected in any sphere of life.
And we must be aware of the fact that, corruption is a bigger menace than terrorism.
Since, we have all the required institutions and no dearth of honest and honourable people, what is required is developing a system to post these DYNAMITE people to be head of NAB, FIA and Anti-Corruption departments of provincial governments.
Towards the achievement of this goal, a committee is proposed to be constituted, consisting of Chief Justice of Supreme Court, all Chief Justices of High Courts and leader of the opposition of National and all provincial assemblies, for appointing on a tenure post, all heads and key personnel of NAB, FIA and Provincial anti-Corruption departments.
Moreover, NO person in the country from civil, military, judiciary and any other department should have the immunity from interrogation, on corruption matters before these departments.
It is earnestly hoped that the above said mechanism if, put in place, will strike such a fear in the hearts of all and sundry, that no one will dare even think, of doing corruption in Pakistan.
A Proposal to Curb the Increasing Menace of Acid Throwing
A Proposal to Curb Increasing Acid Attacks.
It has been observed that acid attacks in Pakistan, mostly on women and occasionally on men, are being reported with increased frequency. Acid has turned into a deadly weapon of mass destruction.
It is such an abhorring crime that any amount of criticism is not sufficient to condemn it properly.
As such, it is proposed that with immediate effect, government should ensure that sale of acid is strictly banned through out Pakistan. And any person violating this ban, should be liable for DEATH penalty under the act of terrorism, trial for which should be held under Anti-Terrorism Courts.
How to Make Pakistan an Economic Power?
The degree of the sovereignty of a country, is directly proportional to the state of economy of that nation. Actually, in constant growth & development lies our salvation. Secondly, we Pakistanis must know, that without any doubt, the easiest and surest way of moving ahead, is to stand on our own feet.
Foreign aid, can keep us afloat, but won’t allow us to swim.
Now the time has come to separate the growth, development, education, eradication of poverty & security of Pakistan, from the politics, forever.
In this regard, it is suggested that, we should aim to bring Pakistan, to the level of Singapore of 2010, by the year 2030. All politics & other considerations should be made subservient to this target for 2030, even if we have to abolish weekly holidays for the next 20 years & reduce our daily sleeping time to 6 hours.
All stake holders in Pakistan must immediately come forward for deciding about the direction of the future of the nation.
Biggest factor in any victory is self-confidence. Anti-thesis of terrorism is education, coupled with economic emancipation.
As such, the nation must embark upon the following agenda, to resurrect our economy without any further loss of time.
1. Request to all foreign donors for a 5 years moratorium, on all debt repayments by Pakistan, which is a frontline state of the world’s war on terror.
2. 20% per annum reduction in all non-developmental government expenditures, plus total freeze in all perks paid from the national exchequer, involving foreign currency.
3.Maximum tax rate on each and every type of income in Pakistan should be fixed at 10%. This will not only bring huge revenues to the government but will also discourage the tax evasion tendencies.
4. Increase in productivity & exports with liberal tax relief to industry, commerce & trade.
5. Set a target for 20% per annum increase in foreign remittances, by offering innovative incentives to expatriate Pakistanis.
6. Abolish FBR (which will alone increase income by Rs.500 billion) & impose flat 10% tax on all & every type of income (as already mentioned at 3. above), without any exemption (except for the security forces personnel, whose salaries may be doubled with expected receipt of un-precedented increase in revenue, due to this formula). This will not only reduce income tax burden on salaried class (with max. tax rate of 10%) but will also result in so much increase in revenues, to the extent that government will not require any tax imposition in the budget. Plus, the government will be able to give tax free salaries to all armed forces, rangers, police and other security agencies personnel, who are shedding their blood, in fighting the menace of terrorism, for our safe tomorrow.
7. Initiate steps (by imposing economic emergency) to bring each and every economic activity under document.
I am more than confident that by the dint of sheer hard work, sincerity & honesty, which is imbibed in the bones of Pakistani work force, we can surely bring Pakistan, into the comity of 20 developed nations of the world, in the next 15-20 years.
