The Late Night Robbery – Fantastic Story!
An elderly man named James Andy from England was going up to bed when his wife had told him he had left the garden shed lights ON which she can see from the window.
James said “ok” and walked to the back door to turn them off. While doing so, he saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.
James phoned the police and said “Help, There are people in my garden shed stealing my property”
The operator at the desk replied “Sir, we have no available units at the moment. Please lock your doors and stay inside the house. We will send an officer as soon as one becomes available.”
James hung up the phone and counted to 30… He then called back and said “Hi, I called a couple seconds ago about people stealing from my shed… You don’t have to worry about sending anyone, I shot and killed both men. The dogs are eating them right now…” He hung up the phone…
Within 3 minutes 6 Police cars showed up. Along with a SWAT team, 2 fire trucks, a Police Chopper, a coroner and a paramedic. They caught the thieves red handed and took them away.
A cop said to James… “I thought you said you shot and killed them?”
James replied “I thought you said there was nobody available!”

“The problem, often not discovered until late in life, is that when you look for things in life like love, meaning, motivation, it implies they are sitting behind a tree or under a rock.
The most successful people in life recognize, that in life they create their own love, they manufacture their own meaning, they generate their own motivation.
For me, I am driven by two main philosophies, know more today about the world than I knew yesterday.
And lessen the suffering of others. You’d be surprised how far that gets you.”

“Sadness gives depth. Happiness gives height. Sadness gives roots. Happiness gives branches. Happiness is like a tree going into the sky, and sadness is like the roots going down into the womb of the earth. Both are needed, and the higher a tree goes, the deeper it goes, simultaneously. The bigger the tree, the bigger will be its roots. In fact, it is always in proportion. That’s its balance.”

“I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter; I have made missteps along the way. But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come. But I can only rest for a moment, for with freedom come responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk is not ended.”
Nelson Mandela (1918-2013)

“Your journey has molded you for the greater good, and it was exactly what it needed to be. Don’t think that you’ve lost time. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. And now is right on time.”

“This world is your best teacher. There is a lesson in everything. There is a lesson in each experience. Learn it and become wise. Every failure is a stepping stone to success. Every difficulty or disappointment is a trial of your faith. Every unpleasant incident or temptation is a test of your inner strength. Therefore nil desperandum. March forward hero!”
