A Recipe to Defeat the Terrorism

The sudden increase of acts of terrorism, with particular reference to the incidents in Karachi, Quetta, KPK and Rawalpindi on Nov. 21, 2012, highlights the importance of the preventive measures to curb the menace of terrorism, which is causing severe losses to the men, material, reputation and image of the country.
In fact, now it looks that the forces adversely inimical towards Pakistan, have launched an all out attack, which has no parallel in the past. For Pakistan, it is now almost a do or die battle, which can not be won alone by our security forces fighting and suffering heavy losses of both men and material; without the total involvement of the each and every citizen of the country.
In the past cases of terrorist attacks on the GHQ, PIDC house & Pakistan Navy air base, it was reported that the gang of attackers were residing in a rented house for quite some time, in an area not very far away from their targets. It was also reported that the neighbors of these houses were although, suspicious of these tenants yet, they kept quiet and did not tip area police, about their apprehensions.
Under the prevailing circumstances, there is a dire need for motivating general public, to remain extra-vigilant in playing their role of defending the motherland, by involvement of entire population of the country, to look out for the stay and suspicious activities of the terrorist, in their near vicinity.
As such, In order to make the stay of terrorists at any place almost impossible, it is proposed to actively involve the entire population, to look out & hunt them. This objective can be easily achieved, by the announcement of the Government, that a REWARD of Rs.50 million (Rupees 5 Crores) shall be paid to any person, who informs the Police, about the terrorist staying in a house, hostel, hotel, rest house or any such place.
For Pakistan, it is not a war against terror, rather it is a world war, with no other option except to win it quickly; and to achieve that objective, the entire population of the country must be geared up and involved in the task of watch and vigilance.

Tim May Resigns from the Post of CEO FICA.

The game of cricket and ICC are in tatters. In fact, this was the time FICA needed Tim May the most, rather than him stepping aside.
TIM May should have taken inspiration from the great Nelson Mandela, who didn’t quit his followers, under the worst of times of his 29 years captivity period.
As they say never say die.

“There is no such thing as a ‘self-made’ man. We are made up of thousands of others. Everyone who has ever done a kind deed for us, or spoken one word of encouragement to us, has entered into the make-up of our character and of our thoughts, as well as our success.”

@U.S. Embassy, Ambassador Hoagland, Greetings.

It is very strange that your country always loads our military dictators with dollars. However, whenever, a civilian setup takes over, it is greeted with sanctions.

Lately, KLB came as a bonus for the civilian set up. But ultimately, the GOVERNMENT got peanuts and major (so- called ) amount went to the NGO’s.

Can u give a concrete and solid figure that how much dollars were EXACTLY given to the civilian government and how much to the NGO’s?

In this regard, may please note that despite my repeated requests thru Twitter messages, your State Department absolutely failed to give these figures, they just played with this and that project, but NO Exact or even approximate figures.

Think Positively About Stress

Are you worried that your high stress level is bad for your performance, your relationships, and your health? It turns out that believing stress has a negative impact might be the worst part.
New studies show that your mindset is the most important predictor of how stress affects you. If you believe it’s bad for you, it will be. But you’ll be happier, healthier, and more effective if you see the difficulties and challenges you face as opportunities to learn and grow, rather than as your “daily grind.”
So think about stress differently: It can create mental toughness, increase clarity, and contribute to a sense of confidence.

Today’s Management Tip was adapted from “How You Can Benefit from All Your Stress” by Heidi Grant Halvorson.

“You can’t change all that is wrong in this great big world,
but you can have an impact, even if it is just a tiny,
positive impact on a stranger that receives a smile from you
on the street today.
There’s so much we can do for others, and in the end, what we do for others ends up benefiting us tenfold. So let’s do this. Let’s make our little worlds
amazing today.”
