Never dress for the postion you have. Always dress for the position you want.

Without involvement there is no commitment.

Things that matter most must not be at the mercy of things that matter least.

Organize and execute around priorities.

Effective people are not problem minded, they are opportunity minded. They feed opportunities and starve problems. They think preventatively.

The enemy of the best is often the good.

We see the world, not as it is, but as we are – or, as we are conditioned to see it.

 Management is doing the things right. Leadership is doing the right things.

Management is efficiency in climbing the ladder of success; Leadership determines whether the ladder is leaning against the right wall.

 Maturity is the balance  between courage and consideration. Seeking to understand requires consideration. Seeking to be understood takes courage.

The amateur sales man sells the product. The professional sells solutions to needs and problems.

Satisfied needs do not motivate. It is  only the unsatisfied needs that motivate.

All compromise is based on give and take, but there can be no give and take on fundamentals. Any compromise on mere fundamentals is a surrender. For it is all give and no take.
