A STORY FOR THE HEART, MIND AND SOUL PERSPECTIVE…

There is an ancient story that tells of a young man, who traveled to an oasis next to a town.

He tied up his camel and approached an old man. He asked… “What kind of a people live in this place?” The old man replied…”What kind of a people live in the place where you are coming from?” The young man got all excited and huffy, saying “They are all a group of selfish and wicked people, I am happy I have left there. The old man answered… “You will find the same kind of people living here.”

That same day another young man approached the oasis to drink water and seeing the old man, asked…”What kind of people live in this place?” The old man answered with the same question…“What kind of people live in the place where you are coming from?” The young man enthusiastically answered… “A magnificent group of people. They are honest, friendly, generous, kind and it hurts very much to have left them. The old man replied… “You will find the same kind of people living here.”

A man who had heard both conversations asked the old man… “How is it possible to give two different answers to the same question?” To which the old man answered…”Each person carries with them in their heart and mind, the power to create the environment where they live.

The young man who didn’t like anything about where he lived before, will most likely not find anything new or different here. He will have brought with him, the reality he will create in this new place.

The one that found only friends and good things where he lived, has the power to find the same here.

Because to tell the truth, your mental attitude is the only thing in your life over which you can maintain absolute control.

When you always have a positive attitude, you will find the true richness in life.

If you look within, you will know that you possess a great strength to find the good in all things. May you always find an oasis of love, peace, and happiness!

PM Sports and Pakistan’s Economy

A journalist, who was fed up with the Pakistan’s poor economy, decided to ask the views of PM Mian Nawaz Sharif on sports instead of the Pak economy.

He asked “Dear PM, which game do you like”. PM replied “Cricket when played in Pakistan”.

The Journalist further asked him , which part of Cricket do you like, I mean batting or bowling ?

Our great cricket lover PM replied.

“No, No, I LIKE THE TOSS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MATCH IN PAKISTAN”.

The Journalist was amused and asked “Why, only the toss Sir”.

Nawaz Sharif smiled for the first time and said ” BECAUSE” IT IS THE ONLY TIME WHEN I SEE OUR RUPEE GOING UP”

American leadership plans to attack Syria..!

All the peace and freedom loving humanity of this planet Earth, must ask the American leaders to answer these questions before attacking Syria, on the alleged charges of use of chemical weapons:

1. What punishment was awarded to those US leaders who attacked Iraq and killed over a million Iraqi people on the FALSE pretext of Iraq (merely) covertly possessing weapons of mass destruction and why this crime is NOT a justification for a US attack on the Israel?

2. What action did American leaders took against those persons, who allowed the use of nuclear weapons on Japan?

3. What action did American leaders took against those people, who used depleted uranium arsenal in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Bar Zardari from leaving Pakistan: Government issued SC notice

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued a notice to the federal government in relation to a request that called for barring President Asif Ali Zardari from leaving the country, Express News reported on Friday.
The notice was issued in relation to the Abbottabad operation by the United States (US) which killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden on May 2, 2011.
The notice was issued by a two-judge bench headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali. The next hearing is scheduled for September 3, just few days before Zardari completes his presidential tenure on September 8.
During the two hour operation, US helicopters and a C-130 aircraft hovered over the palatial mansion where Bin Laden was hiding before launching the assault.
Memogate whistle blower Mansoor Ijaz had accused President Zardari of asking former ambassador to the US Hussain Haqqani to write a memorandum, seeking Obama administration’s help to avert military takeover in the wake of Bin Laden’s killing.
Correction: In an earlier version of this story, it was incorrectly stated that the apex court has barred Zardari from leaving the country. The error is regretted.

Can we connect this story with Shaheed Z A Bhutto, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan and Mian Nawaz Sharif in their roles of Pakistan’s nuclearisation?

In 1951, with the unanimous support of the Iranian parliament, Prime Minister Mossadegh nationalized AIOC, now known as BP (British Petroleum). The nationalization created an international dispute, causing the British to sanction Iran economically and even threaten with war. Mossadegh travelled to the United Nations and made a plea to the Security Council for what he thought constitutionally belonged the Iranian people. This led to him gracing the cover of Time Magazine as ‘Man of the Year’.

The British sought a way to get back what they deemed was rightfully theirs. Realizing they could not do it alone, the UK’s MI6 intelligence agency conjured up a plan that would convince the Americans to get on board with his overthrow by labeling Mossadegh as a communist. This worked well as the ‘Red Scare’ was a dominating factor in US foreign policy at the time. Under the name Operation Ajax, the CIA with the help of MI6 carried out its first coup d’état. In December 1953, Mossadegh was tried in court and convicted of treason.

In his defense, he said: “Yes, my sin –my greater sin… and even my greatest sin is that I nationalized Iran’s oil industry and discarded the system of political and economic exploitation by the world’s greatest empire… This at the cost to myself, my family; and at the risk of losing my life, my honor and my property… With God’s blessing and the will of the people, I fought this savage and dreadful system of international espionage and colonialism… I am well aware that my fate must serve as an example in the future throughout the Middle East in breaking the chains of slavery and servitude to colonial interests.”

The moral of the story……….. never mess with the West when it comes to oil
