An open letter to the Indians..!
From Pakistan With Love to All the Indians..!
Happy New Year 2019 – To All the Indians
New Year Resolution – From Pakistan With Love 💖 to All the Indians..!
While wishing all the Indians a very happy, peaceful and prosperous new year 2019, we would like to inform everyone in India that if at all, we have to be friends, then that friendship must be in true sense; and we must not act and behave with each other, in a hypocritical manner.
We Pakistanis would also like to assure the Indians that even if we wanted, we can’t conquer India. At the same time even if India wanted, it can’t pull down Pakistan, without India being destroyed, as well.
So, why to waste our time and energies in an imaginary hatred policies?
Why to waste our precious resources, in being the prisoners of our foolish past?
From the first day of the new year 2019, let us bury our bitter past and be friends in true sense, like all the European countries.
Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.
Let us have a genuine peace. Let India remove all its strike forces from the border without any fear. Let us join hands to wage a war against poverty, hunger, disease and illiteracy. Let us turn this subcontinent into a bastion of peace and a heaven on earth.
Ring out false pride in place and blood,
The civic slander and the spite;
Ring in the love of truth and right,
Ring in the common love of good.
Ring out old shapes of foul disease,
Ring out the narrowing lust of gold;
Ring out the thousand wars of old,
Ring in the thousand years of peace.
India and Pakistan just need a period of single decade of genuine peace, to turn around its fortunes to emerge as the most potent economic and cultural power-house of this world.
The only condition is the genuine and authentic peace, like the one which exists in between the EU countries.
Why India and Pakistan should live for decades like divided Korea? Why both the countries can not live like united Europe?
Europe which was so divided that its residents fought two world wars; but now when sense has prevailed, Europeans are reaping the dividends of peace.
Now, when both India and Pakistan are nuclear powers, conquering one other is out of question, without Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD).
As such, those believing in success of low intensity wars are lunatics, living in fools paradise, like Hitler and Mussolini.
War between two nuclear neighbours is out of contention, because, even if one country using first strike option annihilates the other neighbour, the fallout of nuclear radiation will leave the victor, uninhabitable forever.
Thus, peace is the only option for India and Pakistan.
Don’t be afraid of problems between the two countries, because they will remain for ever, but we have to give priority to peace, over the problems.
Let us make a new start from the beginning of the new year 2018, with the slogan – Long live the friendship of the teeming millions of India and Pakistan.
Once again our kind regards and best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year 2019 to all the Indians.

A clarion call to American leadership..!
A Clarion Call
To
The President of the United States
And the
Entire Civil and Military leadership of the United States
Dear Sir/Madam,
The news that USA’s National Security Advisor has informed India about supporting India’s right of self-defence, is really alarming and may incite India venturing into any misadventure against Pakistan, which surely and easily can spark an instant full blown conflict, between the two nuclear armed nations.
Link:- https://m.timesofindia.com/india/we-support-indias-right-to-self-defense-us-nsa-to-ajit-doval/articleshow/68018413.cms?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=TOIMobile
On the principles of justice, fair-play and Human Rights, the USA should have first and foremost supported the right of self-determination for the Kashmiris, granted by the Charter of the UN and promised by the Indian PM with the world, at the UN Security Council and mandated by the UN SC resolutions.
Under the circumstances, when many top Indians are openly saying that Pakistan has nothing to do with the homegrown uprising in Kashmir, Indian mischief is badly exposed.
Moreover, keeping in view that the suicide car bomb was detonated by an INDIAN citizen and that no one can enter Indian side of the Line of Control in Kashmir (LOC) from the Pakistani side, which (LOC) is highly secured by the Indians with manned impregnable barbed wire wall, which is further electronically secured with laser and satellite’s most modern surveillance systems of the world, there is not an iota of a proof of any Pakistani connection in the Pulwama incident of killings of Indian security personnel.
If the root cause of the problem is not addressed, do not expect peace in the Kashmir region.
At the same time, the leadership of the United States must not forget how India killed 40 innocent Sikhs in a FALSE FLAG OPERATION in Kashmir on the eve of the Indian visit of the US President Bill Clinton, as admitted by the Indian Army Lt. Gen. (R) details available at
link:- https://www.google.com.pk/amp/s/freepresskashmir.com/2018/03/20/watch-retired-lt-gen-says-indian-army-was-involved-in-sikh-massacre-of-chittisinghpura/amp/
However, before giving any support to the Indian government, over this issue; the P-5 UN members should immediately send a team of the world experts (under the auspices of the UN) to investigate the whole matter and fix the responsibility of this attack on the Indian CRPF personnel on 2/14 on Jammu -Srinagar highway and also to determine, whether, it was a false flag operation of the Modi government or not, which is desperate to divert attention from the UN Human Rights Commission’s report [ First-ever UN human rights report on Kashmir calls for international inquiry into multiple violations
Link:- https://www.ohchr.org/EN/NewsEvents/Pages/DisplayNews.aspx?NewsID=23198 ]
which clearly blames the Indian government and its forces, over worst Human Rights violations and atrocities, making it liable for the trial on war crimes by the the International Criminal Court (ICC or ICCt) at The Hague, just like it happened in the case of recent war crimes of the Myanmar’s forces. Moreover, do not forget Sir, your any undue encouragement to India for its misadventures vs Pakistan, will surely escalate into a nuclear Armageddon, endangering the existence of entire humanity, on our planet.
In this regard, your kind attention is invited towards the following:

In view of the above submissions, the US government leadership is requested to be well aware of the repercussions of US support to India, on its unjust cause in Kashmir, which can prove to be of catastrophic consequences, for not only your country, but the world at large, as well.

How NOT to win the World Cup..!
Subject:- Albert Einstein said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over without any change and expecting different results.
Dear Mr. Imran Khan Sahab.
AoA.
Sir,
Without urgent changes in our team’s coaches & captain, we should forget about winning the ODI WC 2019.
Out of last 10 ODI matches our team won only 2 matches (20%) & Sarfaraz Ahmad scored 292 runs of 17 innings in 13 months of (2018-19) averaging 24+ with 5 not outs.
In this regard, during the recently held Asian Cup tournament played in the UAE in September 2018, our team got unforgettable thrashing from the Indian B team (Virat Kohli was not playing) which defeated our hapless team in a manner, margin and style which may be very difficult to forget, detailed as below:
On 19 September 2018 India defeated Pakistan with 8 wickets by bowling out our team for 162 runs in just 43.1 overs and achieved the target in ONLY 29 overs.
(Please read detailed analysis dated 20 September 2018 of this match given below as Annex-A and a write up dated 22 September 2018 titled “Why our lions have become lambs” as Annex-B.)
In the second match played on 23 September 2018 Pakistan scored 237/7 in 50 overs which was over hauled by the Indians in 39.3 overs by just losing one wicket and won the match with 63 balls to spare, as if, it was not a Pakistani winner of Champions Trophy team, but a team from Afghanistan or Hong Kong.
My short comments dated 23 September 2018 after losing the above mentioned match vs India, are reproduced below for your kind perusal please.
Quote:
High time for head coach and captain to quit for turning Pakistani lions into lambs..!
Today the main reason for a low/disappointing score of our team was that we played 175 dot balls (29.1 overs) out of 300 balls (50 overs).
In first 10 overs of our innings when only 2 fielders are allowed outside the 30 yards circle, we scored only 28 runs against Indian score of 53 runs.
Test match strategy, planning and mindset can never work in an ODI game, where name of the game is attack, innovation, positive approach in team selection, batting, bowling, fielding and staying one step ahead of the opponent’s game plan and strategy.”
Unquote.
Respected Imran Khan Sahab, although, being the Prime Minister it is too much to request you to indulge in the nitty gritty of cricket affairs, yet, the next ODI World Cup is too serious an affair to be left with the current PCB management, which may be very much sincere with its job, but it looks reclaiming World Cup for Pakistan, is too big a job for them, for which they have somehow been in an inertia, since September last; and very clearly, it is visible that they look afraid of media, in making bold and corrective decisions, in the larger interest of Pakistani cricket. Moreover, the current management of the PCB can’t even say that now it was too late to make changes in the team, because given below are written proofs (Annex- A & B) that they were duly warned, way back in September 2018. It looks that the PCB’s management had decided to maintain status quo, as their cardinal policy, but the problem with this status quo policy is, that you end pleasing none and are held responsible for the ultimate failure of the task, originally given to you.
In view of the foregoing, you are once again (for the last time) requested to takeover the reigns of the PCB in your own hands and urgently intervene for a vital course correction, so that Imad Wasim (Captain) or any person you think is a captain material & Aquib Javed/Amir Suhail (Head Coach) may be considered for these positions with a cut out task to bring the World Cup back, under your leadership, otherwise forget about even reaching the semi finals stage.

[Analysis of India vs Pakistan match played on 20 September 2018]
Disaster at Dubai..!
The total capitulation of Pakistan’s cricket team in the match played on 19 September 2018 at Dubai cricket stadium versus the Indian team must be taken positively for immediate corrective action before the start of the ICC ODI World Cup just after eight months time.
Victories and defeats are part of the game, but abject surrender is not acceptable, for which responsibility must be fixed and heads should roll.
In today’s India vs Pakistan match played at Dubai our entire team just scored 162 runs (which is not even a decent T20 match score) in 43.1 overs, which was easily overtaken by the Indian team in 29 overs for the loss of only two wickets.
The story of most shameful performance by our team is also very aptly reflected by the following statistics of dot balls played by our team:
Total balls of the Pakistani innings = 259 balls or 43.1 overs.
Total dot balls played by our team = 159 balls.
When a team plays almost 62% dot balls then DOUBTS about their capabilities, abilities and INTENTIONS are always raised.
Above all, this pathetic situation also demands ruthless accountability of all concerned who are associated with our team, particularly the captain and the team of coaches.
It is earnestly hoped that the new management of the PCB headed by Mr. Ehsan Mani also knows that the head coach of our team has never played a Test match in his cricketing career.
With this team management and the captain, it will be extremely difficult for our team to even move to the second round in the ODI World Cup schedule to start in May 2019 in England.
It is a timely wake up call for everyone concerned in the PCB, who were living in a false sense of comfort, after defeating Zimbabwe 5-0 in the ODI series, not realising that it was not even their C level team, due to the absence of six main players from the Zimbabwean Team.
This head coach and captain may not be the best choice for being retained till the next ODI World Cup. Especially, the captain who has unfortunately very badly failed to lead the team by example and from the front.
Mr. Aamir Suhail, considering that he is the best person available in the country, who possesses exceptional qualities of observing and correcting technical flaws of our players regarding batting, bowling, fielding, leadership and strategy matters; should be immediately appointed as head coach (and for any reason if it is not possible) then he should be appointed as team director, who should be the boss of the entire contingent of players, head coach, manager and all touring support staff.
If Mr. Aamir Suhail is appointed as the Team Director, may be there will be no need to replace the captain of the team; as under his mentorship, Sarfaraz Ahmad most probably will overcome his batting and leadership deficiencies, as well. Thus, leaving no need to find alternate player, as captain of the team.

Why our lions have become lambs..!
The best way for the new management of the PCB, to not to win the ICC ODI World Cup 2019 is to remain in inertia; and carry on with the present set up, without any change..
However, then a question will be asked that if everything of the past management was satisfactory, then why its chairman was removed?
Nevertheless, the pathetic performance ( being displayed during the ongoing Asia Cup matches) of the product of the previous management of the PCB (players and coaching staff) leaves much to be desired from the new management of the PCB.
Entire coaching staff of our team has miserably failed in delivering (despite very high salaries) along-with captain and the players, who seems to have totally lost their flair of the game and passion for victory: which was clearly visible with the Afghan players, many of whom were seen crying, after losing a nail biting match against our team.
Keeping in view that the ODI world cup is almost around the corner, Shoaib Malik should be immediately appointed captain of the Pakistani cricket team for all the three formats; and a power hitter wicket keeper batsman inducted in place of Sarfaraz Ahmad, who unfortunately, seems to have passed his shelf life; and because of his non-performance, the team has also lost its balance.
The difficulty, with which our team won the match against Afghan team, is not at all a good omen. Even otherwise also, Sarfaraz was originally appointed captain by Mr. Shahryar Khan, by default.
It is again reiterated that our head coach and bowling, batting and fielding coaches must be immediately replaced, because they have turned our players from lions to lambs.
Just look at the hugely declining performances of our fast bowlers including Muhammad Aamir and batsmen including Fakhar and Sarfaraz.
About the declining standards of our fielding, it’s low level during our yesterday’s match against the Afghan team, said it all.
As such, the new management of the PCB is advised that they must not wait for the corrective actions, till after the World Cup.
Pakistan has to win the 2019 ODI world cup in England, which at the moment, with the current lot of coaches and players, looks like a distant possibility.
After the recent change over in the PCB, it looks the new management is acting on a go slow and wait and watch policy.
PCB has to be proactive and must take immediate remedial steps.
Our team badly needs a leader who can inspire, motivate and lead players from his own performances.
Our team also needs immediate induction of power hitters (like Suhail Akhtar) and an accomplished all rounder.
We also need a new coaching staff which can also study the weak points of opponent players and guide our players to modify bowling and batting strategy according to the weak and strong points of the opponent players.
In view of the foregoing, the new set up of the PCB should come into action immediately, postponing the honeymoon period, till after the World Cup is won by our team.
Good luck for Mr. Ehsan Mani in re-vamping the PCB.
A blue print of turning Pakistan into an economic super power..!
Dear Mr. Imran Khan Sahab.
AoA.
Sir,
Kindly peruse below few proposals for the subject mentioned challenge of making Pakistan an economic super power in the shortest possible time harnessing huge and amazing manpower potential and talent of Pakistan.
Few towering Pakistani personalities which can single handedly make Pakistan richest country of the region:
Shaheed Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto, one of the greatest statesman witnessed by the last century, will always be remembered as a huge benefactor of the country for his following services to Pakistan:
~ Arraigned honourable repatriation of about 90,000 civil and military POW’s from India.
~ Gave a unanimously approved constitution to the country.
~ Laid the foundations of nuclearization of Pakistan by selecting a metallurgist as the correct person (Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan) to head the nuclear project, who was only answerable to the Prime Minister.
~ Held the Second Islamic Summit Conference from February 22-24, 1974 in Lahore which came to be known as the Lahore Summit. It was an extra ordinary summit that was held on the proposal of OIC Secretary General Tunku Abdul Rahman.
For even half of the above stated monumental services, any other country would have officially paid homage on birthday and death anniversary, every year, to such a benefactor of the nation.
Now coming back to the topic, Pakistan is still very lucky that in this era, quite a few persons are available as detailed below, who can single handedly make Pakistan an economic super power, provided they are given free hand like ZAB gave to Dr. A Q Khan.
1. Dr. Imran Ahmed Khan
confidently says that Pakistan’s prosperity and economic turnaround is linked to the indigenous development of Rare Earth Metals (REM), Copper, Gold , Molybdenum, Lithium, Aluminium and few more.
We have oil, gas, valuable metals and minerals in abundance and as per conservative estimates, are valued up to 51 Trillion USD repeat $ 51 trillion. [Here it will not be out of context to state that the total GDP of the top 10 world economies [America, China, Japan, Germany, UK, India, France, Brazil, Italy and Canada) is $ 53 trillion.]
All that Pakistan has to do is to impose a blanket ban on export of ANY ORE in RAW form; for example copper and gold should be allowed to be taken out of Pakistan only in the finished form, for which the reprocessing/purification plants (can also be built within our country) must be installed in Pakistan.
Thereafter, replicate KRL model for indigenous development of strategic metals and commercial sales after value addition.

2. Dr. Ikramul Haq is confident that we can easily increase tax revenues of the government of Pakistan from the current amount of about $ 40 billion to $ 80 billion per year.
The government of PTI can utilise his services in a suitable position to turnaround the economy of Pakistan; because at the end of the day, rebuilding of Pakistan’s shattered and plundered economy can only be done inside out, as loans and foreign aid at the best, can just keep us afloat/save from sinking.
Dr. Ikramul Haq is the most fit and suitable Pakistani person, who is highly qualified, extremely professional man of unmatched integrity and great international reputation of full command on taxation laws and international laws, on recovery of stolen assets. He has the best abilities to approach the challenges of economic turn around based on home grown strategies in a very smart, highly professional and least disruptive

3. Mr. Asif Sharif is a world renowned agriculture specialist of such a potential that it will not be an exaggeration to call him Steve Jobs of agriculture, who confidently says that given an opportunity he can help produce an exportable agricultural surplus of over $20 billion for Pakistan which in turn will also provide jobs for over 50 lacs Pakistanis.
In this regard, if we are able to hugely conserve water consumption in agricultural sector and simultaneously more than double the production with reduced cost by using the methods proposed by Mr. Asif Sharif, the vision of re-building economically strong Pakistan, which will be a giver of aid to the needy countries, can be achieved in the shortest possible time, through green revolution in agriculture sector.
According to the tested methods of Mr. Asif Sharif “Raised beds irrigation system saves 80% water. It is as good as drip irrigation. Production is increased by at least 40% and cost of production is reduced by 80% or more.”
In view of the foregoing, Mr. Asif Sharif may be considered to form an organisation directly reporting to the Prime Minister, which should be responsible for increasing agricultural productivity in the country, to create exportable surplus in the shortest possible time.
In this connection, Mr. Asif Sharif may be advised to give a detailed presentation of his brain child of Rural Sector Productivity Enhancement (RSPE) which he thinks is the solution for all ills, poverty alleviation, jobs creation and placement, production of food, feed, fiber and industrial raw materials that meet buyers quality and price expectations, wherein, all Agro based industry should be engaged to participate in profit sharing, which shall be a wholistic program.
4. Mr. Salim Ghauri
Mr. Salim Ghauri is also a world renowned IT entrepreneur recognised globally today. He is the founder & CEO of NetSol Technologies. Keeping in view that the future of all business and service industry lies in the optimum utilisation of IT related technologies the government must appoint Mr. Salim Ghauri in an appropriate position at the federal level with the challenge of increasing the IT exports of Pakistan to $ 10 billion by the end of FY 19-20.

Why PTI government is punishing its own voters?
In December 2017 gas bill, the rate per HM3 was Rs.874.95 and in December 2018 it has been increased to Rs.3213.26 per HM3.
PTI’s leadership always had the audacity to tell us that the PMLN government consisted of thieves, dacoits and nincompoops and that the PTI government is pro people, which will recover this looted money from inside and outside Pakistan; and now instead of fulfilling its promise, PTI government and its Finance Ministry has found an easy way of straightaway recovering the gas theft amount, by punishing the general public to pay for UAL (unaccounted for gas losses which is actually gas theft), instead of deputing the Rangers, to nab the mega gas thieves.
Such anti-people decisions of PTI government, will soon turn the tables on their heads.
Moreover, any gas theft cannot and never be possible without the connivance of the officials of the Gas companies, who should be arrested and tried in the military courts.
Moreover, another easy solution to stop ever increasing burden of utility bills over the general public is to promulgate a law, whereby, right from the President of Pakistan down to the lowest rank government and public officials like senators, MNA’s and MPA’s etc. everyone should be mandated to pay his utility bills from own personal account without any facility of reimbursement, as part of pay package.

اسلام و علیکم
Saturday, 19 January 2019 will be remembered as another black day in the history of Police brutalities in Pakistan, when near Sahiwal, 16 CTD personnel killed from a very close range in broad day light, four persons (including a 13 year old girl, her mother and father) right before the eyes of their three young kids. This abhorring incident has shaken the nation and its belief in Pakistani Police force.
As such, it is high time that all of us should collectively ensure that our police is re-vamped on most modern lines, so that incidents like killing of Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Model Town and Sahiwal massacres are never repeated again in Pakistan.
In this regard, very learned, experienced and senior police officer are unanimous on one point that the most weak link in our police service is the lack of proper training in line with modern day demands of society.
It is a general perception that Police system in Pakistan can not be brought to the level of western countries come what may.
Another view on this issue gives the example of KPK government of the PTI which believes that if Police is depoliticised and Police Stations are housed in a neat and clean building with computer facilities, the performance of Police will automatically improve and a new people friendly culture will ultimately evolve.
However, if the performance, perception and culture of the Police system is to be brought up to the level of the first world countries, then investment, needs to be made into the manpower for re-building and re-vamping of our Police system, which has fallen to a level, where the fiber of our society has been literally blown to the smithereens.
In this regard, the foremost example of a world class Police force in a developing country (where might is right and law of jungle is order of the day), immediately comes into mind, is our very own Motorway Police.
In this connection, in order to get the answers of what is the secret of success of Motorway Police and can this model be replicated in the district Police, the following write up of Dr. Wasim Kausar, former IGP, NH&MP needs careful reading:
Quote.
“Policing Culture
By Dr. Wasim Kausar, Former IGP, NH&MP
Pakistan Motorway Police has earned the respect and confidence of the public within a short span of time. Common perception about police and policing in Pakistan is hopelessly dismal. Where corruption has become almost a disease in Pakistan affecting every aspect of our political, social and economic sectors, corruption in the police stands out like a sore thumb and its conspicuousness is due to its criticality and impact on good governance of the country and the negative general public view or impression it is bound to create. The country has been contending with the issue of corruption for the last several decades, but its efforts could best be labeled as “fire fighting” attempts at curbing public sector corruption.
Not very long ago the traffic culture on the highway of Pakistan was characterized by a contemptuous disregard for traffic rules, an almost non-existent enforcement apparatus, and a very high ratio of accidents. Every year 700 people lost their precious lives and another 75000 received injuries in road accident. This meant a staggering 19 deaths and 205 injuries per day. The response of the Government of Pakistan to all this was swift and sweeping, and that was the establishment of National Highways & Motorway Police, which was specifically tasked to rectify the situation. This was easier said than done, but the gauntlet was valiantly taken up by the pioneers of the force. It was a gigantic task that needed considerable mental and material input. The same was, however, made available and the force became operational. The result has been a success, that could not only be referred to as exemplary but bewildering as reflected in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Report, 2002: –
“With regard to petty and middling corruption, the consensus has been that there is hardly an arm of Government which does not suffer acutely from corruption, with the exception of the Motorway Police.”
Fortunately, Pakistan’s Motorway Police has emerged as a model and an example of a corruption free police. It is commonly believed, supported by studies, that the Motorway Police is actually a graft free police force, created as a result of cultural transformation in policing. Seventy percent of the research on policing in the world encompasses police culture and its effect on police conduct. It has been established by independent research and analysis that prevalent police culture determines the prevalent police conduct with the public. Therefore, it would be naive to expect public friendly policing from a para-military policing outfit. This can only be possible if a strategy is formulated to transform the para-military culture by qualitative improvement in the training ecology and the work station ecology of the organization as reflected below:
The success story of Pakistan Motorway Police revolves around the cultural transformation in police attitude by ensuring qualitative improvement in the training ecology and provision of compatible work station ecology. Needless to say that the service oriented and public friendly police model was the ultimate goal through this cultural transformation.
The research studies into the personality profile of a police officer reveal that the common policeman suffers from a deep seated syndrome which we may name as the “stress prone personality disorder”, caused by one or more of the following factors which lead to his erratic and delinquent behavior, giving rise to ever increasing corruption, moral as well as intellectual, human rights excesses, misdemeanor and misbehavior with the general citizenry and a mindset that police cannot be subjected to any kind of accountability or scrutiny.
TRAINING STRATEGY AND ECOLOGY

TRAINING
Batches of officers were sent to U.K. (Wales) and Germany for specialized training.
Staff from U.K. Police was called to impart training in Pakistan.
Training in the use of Modern – Electronic gadgets.
Training in first aid to help the injured in accidents.
Refresher Courses.
It would be counter productive to give high profile training to an officer without provision of compatible work station ecology. Therefore, a qualitative change in the work station environment was brought about as a result of the following measures based on international standards: –
WORK STATION ECOLOGY
Manageable span of control
Neat and clean working environment
Camp living
Mess facility
Sports activities
Motivation and Morale
Chain of Command
Shift System and Monthly Rest
Compatible Work Station and Training Ecology
In-built System of Reward and Punishment
Minimum Weaponry displayed
Only Moving Violations checked. No documents seized.
Force responsible for traffic discipline, safety of commuters and initial action in crimes.
It is erroneous to think that repressive or oppressive tactics can control crime and restore order to the society. These are reactive methods of policing. Proactive policing is comprised of preventive measures and community partition to curb crime. Policeman is not only a law enforcer, but is also a peace officer who is expected to resolve conflicts between people. In this manner, the police officer becomes a friend of the people, who receives respect and participation from them. His task, thus, become, easier, creative, interesting and meaningful. Therefore, in order to attract quality police officer, the following incentives were given for their selection on merit in the Pakistan Motorway Police: –
Attractive Salary Package.
One Step Promotion.
Free Bachelor Accommodation.
Shift System (8 Hrs Duty).
Proper Mess Arrangement.
Reward for Good Work.
Free Uniform.
Indoor/Outdoor Sport Facility.
Four Days Rest in a Month.
Free Medical Treatment.
Choice Postings (Near Place of Residents).
On 27th November 1997, this new force started working. After six months, the British trainers paid a surprise visit to see the working of their trainees and were astonished to see the working of their trainees and were astonished to see the efficiency and output. They remarked “this force is working even better than British Police” which is indeed a great comment from a British Police Officer.
It would be difficult to pin down all the contributing factors for the first public friendly and service oriented police organization in Pakistan in this brief article. However, it may be mentioned that this miraculous transformation has been brought about by a cultural swing through qualitative improvement in the training ecology and work station ecology as explained earlier. It may be argued that maintaining law and order and control of crime is the joint responsibility of the society, its political, social, economic and cultural institutions. The police alone cannot handle these problems and the pooling in of the efforts of all is essential. Other state agencies must be involved. Crime and disorder are social theme, which should be projected in their true colors and the policeman’s role should be fitted in to the extent that is needed and relevant and no further. Then alone, the policeman shall be able to adequately and efficaciously acquit himself of a portion of his responsibilities, in the larger context of the criminal justice system. This is part of the dialectics of improvements, which must be allowed to operate freely.
Therefore, it is clearly manifest that policing by consent whereby the policing process takes the public along in its quest for maintenance of public order is a key towards public friendly policing. The success of Pakistan Motorway Police lies in its service oriented functions and assistance to about 1200 commuters in Pakistan each day. From organizational point of view, the most important factor is that this is an officer based organization which works in a shift of eight hours with a manageable span of control as per international standards. The frequently asked question that Pakistan Motorway Police model can be replicated in the district police would require a detailed research paper. However, it can be argued that this not something impossible. It may be pointed out that order in a society depends upon a multiplicity of interacting forces which are complex. It depends upon the distribution of resources, images of relative deprivation, inequities and injustice, coercion, oppression, and greed. It depends upon the inculcation of values of comfort, convenience, dignity, safety of others etc. These values depend upon family, education, environment and neighbourhood pressures with expectations of good behavior.
In this context, it is essential to understand the tensions in rural areas, the phenomenon of migration, and various aspects of urbanization giving rise to police responsibility in providing convenience of movement and general security making the society functional and efficient. Since human relationships are becoming more sensitive in the complex network of dependence, the policeman has to be sensitive to indications of disorder and lawlessness. Therefore, it can be argued that a cultural transformation in the district police is practically possible with a strong will of the Government as in case of Pakistan Motorway Police. However, it may be pointed out that apart from key policy decisions, this change would require a sustainable financial backup in order to ensure quality in policing as stated by Sir, Robert Peele in his address to the British Parliament on Police Reforms in 1907: –
“The quality of policing is directly proportional to the financial aspects of policing. It will be difficult to get a good police without paying for it”
Unquote.
The gist of the above article as per given link:- http://nhmp.gov.pk/?page_id=144 lies in the following sentence:
Quote. “ a cultural transformation in the district police is practically possible with a strong will of the Government as in case of Pakistan Motorway Police.” Unquote.
In a nutshell, it is suggested that the government of Punjab (and all other provinces) must take a leaf out of the success story of the Motorway Police, with the same will, determination and monetary investment, which it has shown in the bringing up of the Metro Bus Services, Orange Line Metro Train System and Safe City projects; otherwise, huge investments in the infrastructure developments will be totally nullified by the decadence in society, mainly created by the old Police system of the British colonial rulers, to serve their own vested interests.
In this regard, the new Police system may be implemented in stages and phases by weeding out old lot of rankers after giving them a decent payout in voluntary retirement scheme and inducting fully qualified and highly trained personnel, after completely separating the three segments of Reporting, Investigation and Prosecution.

200 billion dollars question..!
Why the government has conveniently buried the issue of recovery of $200 billion Pakistani wealth stashed in Swiss Banks, without giving any weight to the relevant statements of the two Swiss b?
Is there more than what meets the eye?
Why elected and non elected members of the PTI are mum on this issue and not has the courage for questioning their leadership for not digging deeper in this vital issue?
Why the government of Mr. Imran Khan has been misled by his concerned team members that the figure of $200 billion illegal money stashed in the Swiss Banks ($97 billion only in one Swiss Bank) was not worth considering for recovery?
In this regard, Mr. Imran Khan may depute Dr. Ikram ul Haq (world renowned internationally qualified tax expert and a lawyer of Supreme Court) as his special envoy to sort out this issue from the government of Switzerland and other such world countries so that promise of Mr. Imran Khan that he will bring back looted Pakistani wealth is fulfilled at the earliest.
Quote:
“In a detailed response to a question raised by Dr Arif Alvi (MNA), the minister quoted statements by a Swiss banker and a former Swiss government minister: “One of the directors of Credit Suisse AG stated on the record that $97 billion worth of Pakistani capital was deposited only in his bank. Similarly, Micheline Calmy-Rey, a former Swiss foreign minister, is reported to have put the amount of Pakistani money hidden in Switzerland at $200 billion — a statement that was never contradicted,” he revealed.” Unquote.

An open and urgent appeal to the Secretary General of the UNO Mr. António Guterres for immediate action of war crimes trial against the concerned Indians on proven charges of genocide of the unarmed Kashmiris by the Genocide Watch report against the Indian civil and military leadership which is also conclusively proved with the above attached video evidence which shows the Srinagar road RED with the blood of Kashmiris.
Subject:- A timely reminder by Mr. Imran Khan Prime Minister of Pakistan in December 2018 over continuing genocide of Kashmiris by the Indian Forces which is proved NOW (in August 2019) with the video attached above showing a road of Srinagar RED with blood of Kashmiris and now it is a fit case for the UNO/ICC to start war crimes trial of Indian civil and military leadership.
Dated 21 December 2018
Dated 23 August 2019
Excellency Mr. António Guterres,
Greetings.
Addition on 23 August 2019.
Sir, you are earnestly requested to take the following immediate actions at the UNO to stop further persecution/genocide/holocaust unleashed by the RSS Modi government of India (which has even shamed the Nazis atrocities against the humanity) against the Muslims residing in its occupied portion of the Kashmir in particular and Muslims and other minorities residing in India in general.
1. Send a humanitarian aid and peacekeeping force to Indian Held Kashmir for removing 20 days uninterrupted curfew (imposed by the Indian authorities and is used as a tool of genocide), providing medicines and food and protecting the lives and honour of the besieged Over 10 million Kashmiri population.
2. Ask the International Criminal Court at Hague to start a war crimes case against the civil and military leaders of India (Headed by RSS Modi who was earlier already banned entry in the Europe and the USA for his direct responsibility in the massacre of Muslims in the Gujarat State of India where RSS Modi was the chief minister. It is more than obvious that the entire European governments and the American government would never take such an action without SOLID proofs of massacre of humanity under the direct orders, support and patronage of RSS Modi).
Thanking you in anticipation.
Letter dated 21 December 2018.
We invite your kind attention towards the news item link:-
https://tribune.com.pk/story/1871282/1-pm-imran-calls-un-chief-expresses-concerns-iok-rights-violations/
wherein, it has been reported that Prime Minister Imran Khan had a telephonic talk with you on Thursday, 20 December 2018 over the extremely grave and fast deteriorating Human Rights situation prevailing in the Indian Held Kashmir.
In this regard, Mr. Imran Khan expressed deep shock and grave concern on the escalation in the continuing violence in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), especially the recent killing of 15 innocent Kashmiris and injuries to more than 300 protesters in single day.
Recently, the Washington Post dated 15 December 2018 also reported “SRINAGAR, India — At least seven civilians were killed and over three dozen injured Saturday when government forces fired at anti-India protesters in disputed Kashmir”.
Violence reports in Indian Occupied Kashmir, resulting from the blatant genocide of Kashmiris demanding freedom from India, being committed by the Indian forces are frequently/regularly reported by the New York Times link:- https://www.nytimes.com/topic/destination/kashmir
Rights groups are reporting well over 100,000 Kashmiris have died and uncountable (near about a million Kashmiris) injuries caused by bullets, pallets and reported use of chemical weapons by the Indian forces over hapless Kashmiris, since 1989.
The heightened tension at the LOC between the armies of the two nuclear power countries (India & Pakistan) has reached such a threshold that any incident can easily trigger an armageddon, which may not provide any time to even the UNO to pacify the situation from the brink of a full blown nuclear war, in which case the temptation of gaining advantage of first nuclear strike, may be impossible to resist, for any comparatively small sized country, in any probable war, with a very large sized country, to avoid total its annihilation.
As such, it is high time that UNO must act proactively by sending a Peace Keeping Force in the IOK, under the auspices of UNMOGIP to stop further worst genocide, holocaust and atrocities of the Indian forces who are not sparing even babies as young as one year old; blinding kids by firing pallet guns. Such crimes against humanity were not committed even by the Nazi forces in the World War 2.
You may urgently advise the Indian leadership that as far as Kashmir is concerned, India has totally lost the war, which is proved from the fact that all Kashmiris being martyred (no Pakistani can crossover to Indian side in Kashmir as the LOC is heavily guarded, fenced and technologically secured with most modern gadgetry) by the Indians, are buried wrapped in Pakistani national green and white flag, which phenomena has never ever been witnessed in the entire history of the liberation wars of our globe. The entire liberation struggle of Kashmiris against India is hundred percent homegrown, in every form and nature, which can be confirmed from the UNMOGIP.
Your Excellency is once again urgently requested that in the case of extremely volatile situation in the Indian Held Kashmir, where an unparalleled human tragedy of the highest magnitude and longest ever period is continuously happening, the UNO may not get sufficient time to save the planet earth from the unimaginable catastrophe of a full blown nuclear war, breaking out suddenly, without notice, which will have no comparison of expected devastation, which even American atom bombs caused over the two cities of Japan. In this scenario, there seems very little doubt that it will be a no holds bar situation.
Wishing you, your family and your UNO’s team, seasons greetings and a happy new year 2019.
Kind Regards,
Syed Nayyar Uddin Ahmad

PS. Message dated 1 October 2018 on the eve of your start of visit to India.
Subject:-India using chemical weapons in Kashmir
Dated 1 October 2018
Excellency Mr. António Guterres,
Greetings.
There is no doubt that your excellency personally deserves the award of Nobel Peace Prize and I profoundly congratulate your excellency, on the re-emergence of UNO, under your dynamic leadership, as a potent and fearless organisation, which is firmly standing up against the genocide of the hapless people and Human Rights violations, all over the globe.
In the veracity of my above statement the following two monumental reports of UNO are living testimony of the sudden turnaround being noticed in the performances of the UNO with special reference to the attention towards the protection of the Human Rights:
1. First-ever UN human rights report on Kashmir calls for international inquiry into multiple violations

2. Myanmar military leaders must face genocide charges – UN report

In this connection, your kind attention is invited towards the following communication (link provided below) addressed to the then SG UNO Mr. Ban ki-moon. Few excerpts quoted as below:
Quote.
“As it may be already very well in your knowledge that UN has described the 8,00,000 Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, as one of the most persecuted minorities in the world, being tortured, displaced, faced travel and trade limitations, murders, now Rohingya Muslims face child-limitation policies as well.
Similarly, over 10 million Kashmiri Muslim population living since 1947 under Indian occupation forces, are the most persecuted MAJORITY in the world. The list of humanly unimaginable atrocities perpetrated for the last almost seven decades, is so long that its compilation will be more voluminous, than the final print edition of 2010 of 32-volume set of Encyclopaedia Britannica.
YOUR EXCELLENCY, LET NOT THE POSTERITY DOCUMENT THAT YOU SIDED WITH THE HOLOCAUST OFFENDERS OF INDIA AND FAILED TO USE YOUR INFLUENCE TO STOP GENOCIDE OF INNOCENT KIDS, WOMEN AND MEN DEMANDING THEIR LEGAL AND MORAL RIGHT OF SELF DETERMINATION.

Dear Sir,
We invite your kind attention towards war crimes being continuously committed and perpetrated by the Indian Army’s leadership and troops under command and orders of the top Indian civilian government leadership in the geographical area of Kashmir under occupation of the Indian forces.
This illegal and unlawful Indian occupation of Kashmir, for a period of over seven decades, is an internationally and UN recognised dispute, as per the security council resolutions, which called for allowing/giving the right of self determination to the Kashmiri population, which is being continuously denied by the Indian government, despite of the fact that the UN military observers are posted both in India and Pakistan. As such, the presence of UN military observers proves beyond any shadow of doubt that Kashmir is NOT and has never been an internal issue/matter of India and that it needs to be resolved as per the relevant UN Security Council Resolutions.
During the above mentioned period of over seven decades, the Kashmiri population has been waging (as allowed under the UN charter) relentless struggle for their right of self determination, paying heaviest price in the history of mankind, in the shape of deaths, injuries, rapes, blindness by attack of pellet guns, abductions, jails and worst imaginable torture perpetuated by the Indian security forces.
In this regard, we take this opportunity to bring to your notice the latest case of war crime committed by the Indian occupying forces in the Indian Held Kashmir, as reported by the daily “The Express Tribune” dated 15 September 2018 titled “
‘Barbaric conduct’: Viral picture shows Indian soldiers dragging body in IoK
Link:- https://tribune.com.pk/story/1803947/3-barbaric-conduct-viral-picture-shows-indian-soldiers-dragging-body-iok/
Moreover, for the detailed study of the reports of the highly reputed International Organisations, about the unparalleled Human Rights violations and unimaginable magnitude of genocide/manslaughter of Kashmiris, committed by the Indian forces, on the orders of their civilian leadership, is duly chronicled and can also be perused at the links given below:

In view of the foregoing, you as the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court are requested to immediately initiate necessary proceedings as per laws of the war crimes, against the responsible Indians on charges of worst possible human rights violations, in the history of the mankind; of the Kashmiris living under Indian occupation of their land.

Excellency Mr. António Guterres:
Keeping in view of the fact that from today you are visiting India, where the only untenable argument about Kashmir you are going to get is that it was an integral part of India and it was their internal matter.
Now, the question is (even if their untenable argument is accepted for a moment) no law permits Indian authorities to subjugate Kashmiri people with unleashing worst holocaust for over seven decades, when Kashmiris have already decided to live with Pakistan, which is daily manifested by the fact that Kashmiris martyred (on daily basis) are burying their dead wrapped in Pakistani flags.
Moreover, if UN can decide and recommend war crimes trials of Myanmar Military Personnel (where Rohingya Muslims were already their internal matter as no UN Military Observers were posted in Myanmar) why not UN is recommending war crimes trial against the responsible persons of the Indian government authorities, where UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein has already stated in his report that there is an urgent need to address past and ongoing human rights violations and abuses and deliver justice for all people in Kashmir, who for seven decades have suffered a conflict that has claimed or ruined numerous lives.
Moreover, Indian argument also does not hold water (that Kashmir was their internal matter), because under the UN resolutions about Kashmir, the UNITED NATIONS MILITARY OBSERVER GROUP IN INDIA AND PAKISTAN is working; and which is a testament of the fact that Kashmir is a disputed issue between India and Pakistan and all UN documents and Map’s show Kashmir as a disputed territory and not as an Indian territory, where millions have been killed by the Indian Forces over a period of seven decades, just because Kashmiris
were and are demanding their Right of Self Determination, exactly as per the Charter of the UNO.
In view of the foregoing, and considering that Kashmir has now become a flashpoint between the two nuclear power neighbours, which has endangered the peace of the entire world, you are requested to use your authority as the Secretary General of the United Nations to immediately call a meeting of the Security Council to address the following issues:
– Looming imminent danger of a full blown nuclear war between Pakistan and India over Kashmir crises.
– Initiative for commencement of war crimes trial against Indian government responsible personnel.
Concluding, it is requested that your excellency may take any suitable action, applying your own independent mind, without being influenced by the false propaganda of the Indians, who yesterday brought this world further closer to the brink of a nuclear armageddon, by firing on a civilian helicopter (much inside Pakistani territory) which on board had the Prime Minister of AJ&K government.

Is the party really over?
Party is over?
Mr. Cyril Almeida deserve full kudos for writing today a gem of an article titled “The road to nowhere” which shall be remembered by the posterity as one of his best, specially his words “the pantomime on Day 100 was ruthlessly exposed on Day 101”.
In my opinion if PM Mr. Imran Khan does not immediately reshuffle his finance team, the party will be over sooner than later.
If ideology of any ruling party is out of sync with its financial policies, it is not only doomed, but immediately thrown out from the hearts and minds of its own supporters.
PTI won on the promise of reducing poverty (and not minimising corruption as is wrongly perceived because reduction of corruption is not an end, but a means, to minimise poverty) which has increased astronomically in the 101 days of the PT’s era, by obviously induced devaluations, to just please the IMF for implementing its wrong theory that salvation of economy lies in devaluation of currency.
Today, PTI is more unpopular and destroyed by even not yet taking the IMF loan, than the PMLn and PPP were, after actually taking the IMF loan.
The entire leadership of PTI must know that it’s party, honeymoon or pantomime is over, after it committed harakiri, on the day 101 of its rule; and the rest is just, completing its tenure.
Now for PPP, it is a golden chance to resurrect and stage a dramatic comeback on national level, by sacrificing bygone era faces of top leadership.
