Mother of all questions..!
1. Has the the ICC accorded its approval to the T10 League? If not, then how and why their presence will be there and will have a check on any misdeeds of the players/officials?
2. Why PCB wants to take a chance of sponsorship losses for its own franchises, by holding ICC non approved event, so close to PSL tournament, which is definitely expected to suffer losses due to sponsorship fatigue, which is bound to happen by the diversion of sponsors budgets/funds to T10 League?
3. Why such a tight Indian strangle hold have been allowed over this ICC unapproved league where 67% shares are held by an Indian named Shaji al Mulk?
4. Will BCCI ever allow its 28 players to participate in a League of a Pakistani major (67%) share holder? If not then why PCB has thrown its approval to the feet of an Indian investor?
5. The non participation of almost any reputed Indian player is a big question mark which needs answer in light of the fact that out of the six teams three are owned by the Indians and one by a SriLankan. Only two out of the six teams are owned by Pakistanis.
6. The mother of all questions is that why the PCB chairman took a 180 degrees U turn and allowed 28 players to participate in the T10 League? after announcing that:
a). No Pakistani player to participate in the T10 League.
b). PCB has no connection or link with T10 League.
According to sources, PSL franchise owners said that participation in short-format cricket makes the players prone to misdemeanor, so Pakistani players should not be allowed to be a part of the T10 league.
However, Sethi rejected their demand and clarified that PCB and ICC officials will be present in the event which nearly nullifies the chances of any misdeeds.

The Mystery of USD 1 million MOU..!
To:- All the PCB’s members of the Board of Governors.
AoA.
It was reported in the media that PCB’s Board of Governors (BoG) has approved USD 1 million to cover the legal expenses involved in filing and contesting the case against the BCCI, for causing huge financial losses to the PCB, by reneging on its commitments made under a MOU, to play six cricket match series in eight years, with Pakistani cricket team.
In this regard, the honourable members of the BoG are requested to kindly call an extraordinary meeting to decide and verify, on the following important points, because about Rs.10 crores of the PCB are at stake:
1. Confirm, by examining the original of the document, claimed by Mr. Najam Sethi as a MOU between the BCCI and the PCB, was really and legally a MOU or not.
2. Is the document called as MOU was signed by the then heads of the PCB (Mr. Najam Sethi) and the BCCI (Mr. N. Srinivasan)?
3. To confirm whether the purported MOU was written on a legal paper or on the letter head of the BCCI or on a plain paper?
4. Does the document purported as MOU mentions specifically that it was an MOU document?
5. Whether the purported MOU was signed by just a honorary official of the BCCI when the authorised signatory and president of the BCCI was present at the venue?
6. Is this purported MOU just a letter from the BCCI to the PCB?
6 (a). And if it was a letter then is it on the letterhead of the BCCI?
6 (b). And why it was not signed by the BCCI president N. Srinivasan, who was physically present in that ICC meeting?
7. If this document called MOU was counter signed (at that time) by Mr. Najam Sethi as chairman PCB why he allowed a lower rank unauthorised and honorary BCCI person to sign it?
7 (a). And if it was not also signed by Mr. Najam Sethi then can we call such a document an MOU?
8. This purported MOU was signed during an ICC board members meeting. Why did not Mr. Najam Sethi obtain signatures of any ICC board members on this document as witnesses?
9. Why Mr. Najam Sethi accepted this purported conditional MOU from the BCCI, when he himself voted without conditions/reservations, in favour of the Big3 formula?
10. Why Mr. Najam Sethi accepted this purported MOU without the offer/security of any bank guarantee from the BCCI, which was earlier being very strongly demanded by Mr. Zaka Ashraf?
11. The BOG must ask Mr. Najam Sethi as to why he was not taking legal action against the ICC for not paying to the PCB $15 million per year, which Mr. Najam Sethi told to the media and was widely reported in the press that the ICC has made PCB as Big4 and has more than doubled annual payments to PCB to $15 million (after Mr. Najam Sethi voted for the Big3 formula which enhanced astronomically BCCI’s financial share from the income of the ICC), or did Mr. Najam Sethi made a deliberate wrong statement at that time to hoodwink the Pakistani public, from the main issue of his casting an unconditional vote, in favour of making India, the king of the ICC, which started getting lions share of the ICC’s income?
12. Why this so called MOU document was never presented in original, before the members of the BoG of the PCB?
It is earnestly hoped that the timely intervention of BoG members of the PCB may save a huge amount of USD 1 million of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

PMLN… it is the question of your failed leadership..!
PMLN must repay personally the current national total loan burden of USD 250 billion.
Dear Messrs Nawaz Sharif, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, all cabinet members and entire PMLN party leadership.
Sir,
Hope none of you will be aware that as of now, the latest figure of the total debt of Pakistan (internal+external) stands at Rs.25 trillion or $250 billion, which is almost equal to the total GDP of Pakistan.
Here, I would like to remind you the following:
1. The main election slogan of PMLn in 2013 general elections was:
Ae Tair-e-Lahooti! Uss Rizq Se Mout Achi
Jis Rizq Se Ati Ho Parwaz Mein Kotahi
2. PMLN’s E13 manifesto specifically made the following two commitments:
a). Beggars bowl will be broken.
b). Pakistan’s wealth stashed in foreign countries will be brought back in the country.
In view of the 100% failure of your government on the above commitments, resulting in Pakistan’s virtual economic subjugation before its creditors, the only honourable way left for your party and its top leadership is to quit the government immediately; as an atonement for deliberately pushing Pakistan towards the darkness of the economic abyss, before the mass awakening, for demanding registration of cases, against the entire cabinet and party leadership, for the recovery of total odious loans, obtained in your tenure of the government, personally from all cabinet and party members.
Best Regards,
Syed Nayyar Uddin Ahmad
PS. Related news item:
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is often accused of manipulating figures to show reduced fiscal deficit as well as the total debt that according to the central bank rose to Rs22.2 trillion in 2016-17 compared to Rs14.8 trillion of 2013. The latest figure of the total debt stands at Rs25 trillion or USD 250 billion.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory..!
The below note was written on the 3rd day of the first Abu Dhabi Test match.
However, the result of the first Test match reflects that the Sri Lankan team didn’t win, but Pakistani team lost.
In fact, scoring 114 runs in the second innings of a Test match, is not acceptable score even for a 20 overs match.
The chairman PCB must intervene personally; and order immediate inclusion of Fakhar Zaman in the Test team of 2nd Test, as an opener.
Moreover, the chairman PCB must call explanations from the whole selection committee, captain Sarfraz Ahmad and Coach Micky Arthur, for not including in the squad Fawad Alam, Junaid Khan and a right arm off spinner, for the left handed Sri Lankan batsmen.
Basically, we lost the match, because all our batsmen played very defensively and selfishly, to secure their own positions and just scored 209 runs in 90 overs of the first innings.
Any team with selfish players is the best recipe for defeat against, even weak teams.
*Write Up*:
Now it is high time that selectors, coach and captain of men’s team must also be made answerable for their not ordinary, but glaringly defensive tactics; and selection blunders in the ongoing Test match vs the SL team.
Why they selected 7 batsmen and only four bowlers, which allowed SL to score 419 runs and exhausted our bowlers as well?
What was the utility of being so defensive against such a weak team?
It is famously said in cricket that if 5 regular batsmen can’t score then 6 or 7 batsmen will also not score.
Why 3 regular openers were played which also resulted in disturbing the whole batting order.
Why Fawad Alam was dropped with 59+ runs average in last 3 years vs zero average of Haris Suhail in last 3 years?
Why no off spinner was played for so many left handed SL batsmen?
If final eleven is always wrongly selected by the coach and captain, then why not revert to the old practice of making the touring manager, as the chief member of the tour selection committee?
If always poor selection by the national selection committee, then why pay so much heavily to them, when in the past selectors did this job free of cost, as a national honour?
The whole set up of men’s team also needs an urgent shake up, as our team is performing less than ordinary against the weakest time in Asia.
Pakistan – A recipe for way forward..!
It is not a rocket science to understand that for any military to perform its national duties, sound economic conditions are as important, as ammoniation for its guns.
It is also a well known documented fact that Pakistan’s repayments of extremely expensive loans, coupled with huge trade gap, yawning current account deficit, declining remittances, huge losses of the state owned enterprises like PIA, Steel Mills and Railways etc., massive corruption which has grown to such an extent that the size of Pakistan’s black economy has overtaken the size of the annual budget of the country, huge level of money laundering, surpassing the figures of $10 billion annually and depreciating Rupee value has virtually strangulated and stunted the growth and development of the country.
As such, business as usual is a sure recipe for disaster and imminent radical change, the need of the hour for Pakistan.
Somehow, no political party worth its name in Pakistan, has proved that it can solve the issues afflicting the masses of the country. It looks all of them have neither the capacity, nor the will to deliver in the true sense. May be the system in our society, was never designed to serve the teeming millions.
Under the circumstances, there are clear signs written on the wall that very soon, Pakistan may face chaotic law and order situation, resembling the turmoil of the French Revolution.
In view of the foregoing, where the statehood of Pakistan seems to be facing imminent existential crisis, it is high time that immediate corrective surgical actions, like bringing in a very lean but professional consensus government of young, qualified, renowned, reputed and honest people of less than 45 years age, be installed in the center and the provinces, with the below mentioned specific tasks, to be completed, in six months:
– Revival of economy.
– Drafting a new social contract, with special focus on the have nots, which should also encompass devising new policies for the next 100 years, on every sector like education, health, industry (civil & military), mining including mining of precious metals, shipping, air/road/river transportations, space/science and technology, IT, agriculture, justice, tourism, development of new mega cities, energy, housing, sports, service sectors, films/arts etc etc.
– Devising a workable governance plan and innovative presidential political system (which should be free from blackmailing of the elected representatives) to convert every division of the country, into a province, with 100% devolution of power and provisions of funds, to the last tier of the local bodies system.
– Develop plans to further increase the scope of CPEC projects.
– Develop mechanism to minimise corruption and money laundering.
– Prepare robust strategy to immediately bring back illegal wealth, stashed abroad by the Pakistani nationals, which is estimated to be around worth $1 trillion in cash, real state and other forms.
– Prepare plan to bring each and every economic activity, under documentation.
– Devise plans to increase productivity and competitiveness of the local industry.
– Prepare Plans for minimising taxes and duties etc.
I have no qualms in admitting that the current elder generation, has utterly failed to save Pakistan, from going bankrupt, in the every sphere of life; therefore, we must hand over the mantle to the younger generation, to come forward and try to re-build our nation, to the highest stage of the glory.
Pakistan of Overseas Pakistanis..!
The government and politicians of Pakistan must realise that overseas Pakistanis are not just cash cows, sending billions of dollars; for their spendings as if, it was their fathers money.
Overseas Pakistanis are a very precious asset, institute and life line for Pakistan, who deserve special treatment by the nation, concerned embassies and everyone in the country.
First of all, they deserve right of vote. Secondly, they should be given special 3% PA profit on their foreign currency accounts in Pakistan, special protocol at the airports and separate counters at police stations and such like many other facilities.
They should be given special discounts at all malls and by the travel agents; with the purpose to give them a sense of security, pride and honour.
It is further suggested that during five years term of a government, seven persons (each representing four provinces, federal capital area, AJK & GB) nominated by the OP’s must be given a one year term in the cabinet as MoS; which will not only resolve lot of issues of OP’s, but will bring huge businesses, investments and improvements in balance of trade for Pakistan.
In short OP’s should be considered as prime movers of a peaceful, prosperous and strong Pakistan.
This is not cricket..!
This is not cricket…Mian Muhammmad Nawaz Sharif.
Now, the PCB headed by the genius media man Mr. Najam Sethi; and its most highly paid selection committee, has devised an ingenious method to perpetuate its favouritism and nepotism policy, to include Shan Masood (son of Mr. Mansoor M. Khan member BoG of PCB & chairman audit committee of the PCB), at every cost, in the squad for Test matches vs the Sri Lankan team.
The squad usually consists of 15 members, but this time it consists of 16 members, notwithstanding the fact that Dubai is just few hours flight from Pakistan and for such a weak opponent, sending 16 members squad was a sheer waste of PCB’s valuable resources.
The nation has a right to ask the PCB chairman and its team of selectors, on what basis they dropped Sami Aslam and included Shan Masood from the West Indian tour, when during the team’s tour of England the batting average of Sami Aslam was 55 runs agains 12 runs batting average of Shan Masood.
In all fairness, this selection committee is not a fair minded committee believing in intellectual honesty; and may be thinking that people don’t know that how undeserving players are made to look like super stars, by repeatedly, repeat repeatedly, giving them opportunities to play against weak teams, like West Indies and Sri Lanka.
Moreover, inclusion of Sami Aslam in the squad for Test matches vs the Sri Lankan team, after dropping him from the squad of the Caribbean tour (please note in between Sami Aslam and Pakistani team didn’t play any Test match) proves that the selectors in the first instance, wrongly favoured Shan Masood by selecting him for the Caribbean tour and Sami Aslam was made to suffer, because he has no relative serving, in the BoG of the PCB.
Now, coming to Mr. Najam Sethi’s stance that since, he knows nothing about cricket, he wants to tell the selection committee to not even put the papers to him for his final approval of the team.
This stance doesn’t absolve Mr. Najam Sethi of his constitutional responsibilities, where the chairman PCB must approve the team selected by committee of selectors.
Moreover, this also proves that Mr. Najam Sethi should be doing anything but, heading the PCB.
Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, salute to you for handing over the PCB to Mr. Najam Sethi, blatantly violating the cardinal rule of putting the right man, at the right job.
Mr. Ex. Prime Minister of Pakistan for three times, if you can’t do the right appointment in an extremely important national organisation (where the chairman himself admitted in a TV interview that he knew nothing about cricket), how you are again asking to be made the PM of the country, for the fourth time?
Pakistan team: Sarfraz Ahmed (c), Azhar Ali, Shan Masood, Sami Aslam, Babar Azam, Asad Shafiq, Haris Sohail, Usman Salahuddin, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Asghar, Bilal Asif, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Amir, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Abbas, Wahab Riaz
How not to select a hit man?
Dear Mr. Prime Minister,
AoA.
Sir,
These days it is widely speculated that soon you will be appointing a new finance minister.
In this regard, obviously you will be interviewing few deserving persons, for selecting the best candidate, for the post of finance minister of Pakistan.
I take this opportunity to suggest you to appoint such a person, for this very important and crucial job, who will give you the best plan, to do ONLY the following two jobs for Pakistan in the SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME, under your cabinet:
– How to make Pakistan free of entire foreign debt?
– How to bring back wealth belonging to Pakistan, stashed illegally, in the foreign countries?
As, it must be in your knowledge that the above two issues were the main points, in the PMLN’s election manifesto promises with the nation, during the election campaign of general elections 2013; about which your party has miserably failed up-till now, but will be answerable for these promises to its voters, during the next general elections.
Best Regards,
Syed Nayyar Uddin Ahmad
America & Pakistan – A Saga of Love & Hate
Donald Trump must come clean on following accounts before expecting anything further from Pakistan:
1. Which peace loving country created
Al-Qaeda & ISIS? Was it Pakistan or America?
2. Which country (Pakistan or America) recently ferried ISIS to Tora Bora mountains on unmarked helicopters in Afghanistan? And what was the purpose of bringing ISIS terrorists, near to the Pakistani borders?
3. Why India & Afghanistan, right under the nose of the US government forces, are using Afghan territory, for un-leashing state sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, which was also confirmed by the former US Secretary of defence?
In this regard, Pakistan has already provided a dossier on Kalbhushan Yadev, giving details of the Indian state sponsored terrorism, which is an irrefutable proof of India’s state sponsored terrorist activities in Pakistan.
4. Why India is protesting against Pakistani efforts of constructing wall/fencing on Pak-Afghan borders, to stop terrorists being launched from Afghanistan into Pakistan? Are the Indians and Afghans afraid that with the building of wall/fencing, the excuse/propaganda that the terrorists are coming into Afghanistan from Pakistan’s territory, will no longer be tenable?
5. Why India is not protesting against Donald Trump’s plans of constructing wall along the border of Mexico?
6. Why and with which intentions US senators are meeting Indian sponsored terrorist, Altaf Hussain, in London, knowing fully well that he was the top fugitive of Pakistan, responsible for thousands of targeted killings and innumerable terror activities in Pakistan? Should Pakistan take these meetings as acts of friendship from the US, with which it has joined hands, for the last many decades, against fighting the Russian invasion of Afghanistan; and later on, in the WOT, which has so far caused loss of lives of over 60,000 Pakistanis killed, many more injured and cumulative financial losses of over a trillion dollars to its economy?
7. What will be the reaction of US government, if Pakistani law makers meet US’s enemy sponsored terrorists?
8. US must come clean and let the world and Pakistan, very clearly know, whether US is with Pakistan or with those terrorists and terror sponsoring countries, who are spreading terrorism, chaos and instability in Pakistan?
9. US must also tell the world, what it has done and is doing, to stop terrorists, launched by the Indian and Afghan governments, from Afghanistan into Pakistan?
10. US must also tell Pakistan, why it reneged from its promise with Pervaiz Musharraf’s government, in lieu of Pakistan’s total cooperation in WOT; that India will not have any role in Afghanistan’s war?
11. Does Donald Trump thinks that peace in south east Asia is possible, without resolving the Kashmir issue, according to the UN resolutions and wishes of the Kashmiris?
12. Why Donald Trump does not condemn state sponsored terrorism of Indian government, over the Kashmiris and why India is not censured and threatened with US sanctions, over its war crimes in Kashmir, genocide/lynching of Muslims in India (as a state policy to please hard liner Hindus and terrorist organisation RSS), over cows issue; and grave human rights violations, against minorities and low cast Hindus, all over India?
13. Why Donald Trump is embracing Narendra Modi, whose hands are soaked with the blood/genocide/holocaust of thousands of Muslims, brutally killed in Gujarat, under his direct orders, which immediately resulted in ban on grant of US visa, to Narendra Modi?
14. Donald Trump and the US government must not forget that any aid it gave to Pakistan’s military, was not a favour, but to enable Pakistani military, to fight the US IMPOSED WOT.
15. Donald Trump should also not forget that the few billion dollars it paid to Pakistan for GLOC (ground lines of communications) was not a favour or charity, but were reimbursements.
16. Rather, it was Pakistan which gave to the US a big favour/charity of many more billions of dollars, by charging extremely low rates for the GLOC, as compared with the Russian States; and also don’t forget Pakistani huge charity to the US (about which Pakistan never mentioned unlike Donald Trump) for not charging a single penny, for the use of Pakistani air space. Hope the US government knows very well how much it paid to the Turkish government, for use of the Turkish air space, during Iraq war, for a very short time.
17. Hope the US government and Donald Trump knows how much it owes to Pakistan, for saving US troops from being lynched in Somalia?
18. Moreover, America can not raise any objections over Pak – China close relations and the CPEC project, when China itself is the biggest partner of the USA in not only in trade, but loans, as well. What is good for gander is good for goose.
19. Last but not the least, for decades and decades, almost every American/world civil and military leader has appreciated Pakistan’s role and it’s unparalleled sacrifices, as a front line state during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and during the ongoing WOT, for the last over sixteen years.
20. In view of the foregoing, it is now for Donald Trump and his government to decide, once for all, whether the US is a friend or foe of Pakistan? But remember, from now onwards, the US can not be a foe of Pakistan, pretending to be its friend, as well.
Pakistan has had enough; and it can no more be deceived, to put its existence on line, to fight wars for others and take their flak, as well.
