Karachi: Prominent personalities, families awarded free electricity for life

KARACHI (MAMOSA Report), JAN 19 – The Karachi Electric Supply Company announced on its 100th anniversary celebration today, that henceforth it will provide free electricity to the metropilitan city’s 25 prominent personalities and their families as requested by Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ibad.
The electric supply company has been renamed to ‘K Electric’ as part of its rebranding process.
The recipients of the free electricity award include families of slain SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam, Comedian Moeen Akhtar, Sportsman Jehangir Khan, Mohammad Yousaf, Social worker Abdul Sattar Eidhi, Akhtar Hameed Khan, Dr Adeeb Rizvi, Dr Sher Shah Syed, Hakim Mohammad Saeed, John Eliah, Mahdi Hassan, Zia Mohiyuddin and cricketer Hanif Mohammed, Dunya News reported.
