Fully supports the PHF’s apology to the Indian Hockey Federation, for the totally unacceptable and unbecoming behaviour of some of the Pakistani hockey players, in celebrating the victory, after the semi final match Vs India.

Sportsmen must remember that if sports can’t bring the nations closer then it is absolutely useless to indulge in such sports activities.

Sports are and be the ambassadors of peace and friendship.

We must have a defined goal to play sports for strengthening the bonds of peace and friendship amongst the nations.

We don’t need such sporting activities, which increases acrimony between the people of the two nations.
