Warner: Virat is an exceptional player and you shouldn’t think too much into his tri-series form. He will score runs for India and that’s for sure. I think he was trying to play the shot to third man without trying to keep the ball down on most occasions. If you see Shane Watson play the same shot you will see Watto chopping it down to the ground. The bat face is down and not open. Virat got out a number of times behind the wicket or in the slips because he was unable to keep the ball down as a result of the extra bounce that you get in Australian wickets. Having said that, I am sure he will have figured it out. But in your batting line-up you also have Rohit Sharma who I think is an exceptional talent and Ajinkya Rahane – both of whom will score big for India in this tournament.
