Early returns of Muhammad Aamir – a badly needed dose of oxygen for the Pakistani cricket..!

At the moment Pakistani cricket badly needs tangible help and assistance from the ICC and all its members.

Helping a cricket loving nation fighting terrorism for the last 15 years, is helping game the game of cricket.

As such, it is appealed to the big wigs of the PCB to immediately approach all members of the ICC, particularly the big-3, to allow Pakistan to utilise the services Mr. Muhammad Aamir (the fast bowler banned by the ICC till September, 2015) during the ensuing series to be played in Pakistan, against the Zimbabwe’s cricket team.

This special favour (of lifting the 5 year ban on Aamir just 90 days ahead of the deadline) of the ICC, will allow strengthening of our beleaguered team to give improved performance, to regain its status in the top 8 ODI teams before September, 2015, which is the deadline for deciding the entitlement of the 8 ODI teams participation in the Champions Trophy, to be played in the year 2016.

ICC should also be told that if CT-2016 is played without the participation of the Pakistani team, it will not only be a big set back to game of cricket, but will turn the CT tournament, into a lack lustre affair as well.
