One wonders when Misbah ul Haq can score fastest century of the Test matches why he can’t score few runs in a rapid fire manner in the ODI’s?

THE MANAGEMENT TIP OF THE DAY: Harvard Business Review

Add Social Fluency to Your Leadership Skills

Leaders are increasingly expected to have a strong social media presence. Yet many still view social media as a broadcast channel, not as a way to connect. To become a truly social leader, start using it to listen to your customers. Social monitoring and engaging with followers is the best way to collect real-time market intelligence. Focus on connecting instead of promoting. You want to be spreading the good word about your company while also interacting with others and answering questions from concerned stakeholders. So put down the digital megaphone and think about building relationships. You’re also building your personal brand whenever you engage on social media, and, as the company’s number one brand ambassador, you can also improve the company’s image. Be authentic and generous.

Recipe for winning the ODI World Cup..!

When the 30 member Pakistani World Cup cricket team’s probables were announced on 6 December 2014, the chief selector Mr. Moin Khan said that Hafiz Sarfraz Ahmad, will be the third opener.

Now it is high time that Hafiz Hafiz Sarfraz Ahmad should replace Mr. Nasir Jamshed.

Today, many catches were again dropped by the wicket keeper (Mr. Umer Akmal wants to severely punish Pakistan for not including his brother Mr. Kamran Akmal in the team).

Just ONE change of including Hafiz Sarfraz Ahmad in place of Mr. Nasir Jamshed, will solve three problems of Pakistani team regarding wicket keeping, opening batsman and poor fielding, because Mr. Umer Akmal who is a much better fielder, will come very handy into the field, as well.

Moreover, people say that Mr. Shahid Afridi should also be dropped. In this regard, it is suggested that due to his other abilities and our most brittle batting, compared with all the other teams of the tournament, Mr. Shahid Afridi, must be played in all the remaining matches, in the hope that in any match, he has the ability to turn the tables, on the opponent, with his batting prowess.

Furthermore, as per the weaknesses of the opponent teams, Mr. Yasir Shah can replace Mr. Rahat Ali, not only on his bowling, but fielding abilities, as well.

Last but not the least, no other team of the tournament, will allow us to win, if again we will try to match, our newly created world record of 14 runs in 10 bowling power play overs. So, Pakistani team management must also plan and train our upper order batsmen, to go all out, for a minimum of 80 runs, in the opening 10 overs of the innings, irrespective of any worries even if few wickets are lost, during the charge of the power play overs, when ONLY two fielders are allowed outside the 30 meter circle. In this connection Mr. Shahid Afridi can also be very useful, for an all out attack, as a one down batsman. This is all the more logical and a better option, considering he is a total flop in lower order, during the World Cup matches. So why not make use of him as a one down batsman for few quick fire runs?

The only recipe for winning the World Cup is to bat and bowl in the field, so as to give the opponent team an impression, as if they have been struck by millions of volts of lightning.

Best of luck Pakistan team..!
