My email to Mr. Ishaq Dar FM Pakistan on 12 April, 2014.
Mr. Ishfaq Dar finance minister of Pakistan will you please explain:
Sir,
Pakistan took last year in 2013 $6.7 billion loan from IMF at 3% interest rate, when in December 2012, IMF had decided to offer loan to poor countries at 0% interest rate.
Now this year, why Pakistan has floated bonds in the international market for a 10 year period for $1 billion at 8.25%interest?
Best regards,
Syed Nayyar Uddin Ahmad

Switch Tasks When You’re Feeling Stuck
We all get mentally stuck at times. We keep turning over the problem in our heads, but we just run into the same walls. Dogged persistence can actually narrow your focus, so if you’ve been struggling for more than 15 minutes of concerted thinking, get your brain unstuck by switching tasks. Sometimes the best ideas don’t appear when we push ourselves to work harder – they sneak up on us when we look away. A distraction can revive our creativity. When we let go of a problem, our perspective expands. And in the future, instead of setting aside one block of time to work on a creative project, schedule shorter, more infrequent sessions.

Proposals to immediately banish VIP culture in Pakistan
Campaign to banish VIP culture in Pakistan:
1. Close down all VIP lounges at the airports in Pakistan.
2. Remove black car windows from ALL vehicles through out the country without any discrimination.
3. The practise of blocking roads for the VIP traffic, should be dispensed with immediately.
4. PM and all other members of the top ruling elite must bear ALL & ENTIRE travel (inland & overseas including Hajj & Umra) expenses of their children/relatives/friends/servants/guards/drivers.
5. Due to severe economic hardships being faced by the nation wherein we are taking fresh loans from the IMF to pay previous loans, all expenses of the President, PM, Governor & CM houses must immediately be reduced to 50%.
