A Humble Proposal for the World’s Peace

It is proposed that as a first step, the world must agree to a binding UN resolution, on any threat of use or actual use of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, as an act of terror.

These weapons must also be excluded from the list of the weapons of war, in any future world conflict.

It is hoped that if the above proposal is agreed, the world will be a much safer place to live in, for the entire humanity.

Clean up needed at ICC also..!

Corruption in Cricket…Courtesy the ICC..!

Sorry to say that the Dhoni’s bubble has burst. Now, it won’t make any difference whether, he resigns or not from the posts of VP India Cements, as captain of CSK or even captain India.

The public at large knows the secrets of his success as well as the secrets of wins of CSK and the Indian ODI World Cup 2011 victory; and son on and so forth….! N Srinivasan, MS Dhoni & his favourite crony players, the BCCI & the ICC, are all responsible for soiling the clean image of the glorious game of cricket.

Why ICC is silent for months, after announcing corruption inquiry against the NewZealand players? What is called a connivance???

These culprits deserves to be treated in the same way Salman Buttt and his cronies were given the punishment.

They don’t need any education?

Friday, March 28, 2014
From Print Edition

The people of Sindh highly appreciated it when – almost a year back – the Sindh Assembly passed legislation that provided free and compulsory education and school uniforms to a fixed percentage of children from the lower-income strata, living near private schools in Sindh. However, to date, not a single poor child was allowed this facility of free education for poor children living in the vicinity of private schools.

Was this a pre-election gimmick? In India, all private schools – as per law – are already providing free education and free school uniforms to poor children who live nearby; this they do equal to 20 percent of the enrolled students. But here in Pakistan, who cares for the education of the poor kids, when not a soul moved on the death of the hundreds of poor children from measles, other diseases, hunger and drought?
