Talat Hussain refuses ministry offer. He is an unsaleable rare commodity.

TOI reports Musharraf says he felt insulted and humiliated standing for the judge and facing him.

This is called having to get the taste of your own medicine. When the elected PM was hanged on a fake judgement, it was not an insult. When another PM was hand cuffed, it was not an insult. When the Chief Justice of the Supreme & Court was man handled, and kept under house arrest with kids and ladies, it was no insult to any one.

Pakistan Has No Other Option Except Democracy.

Salute to Mr. Asif Ali Zardari and the PPP government for awarding the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline construction (on Pakistani side) project’s contract to an Iranian company, Tadbir Energy. The pipeline construction was formally launched on March 11, 2013, on the Pak-Iran border.

This wise decision of the current government, will prove to be the one of the Pakistani history’s great watersheds.

Further, the political acumen and sagacity of the government of Pakistan, under the lion hearted and visionary leadership of Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, must also be appreciated for selecting the timing (which is being criticized for being too late and too near to the elections) of start & finish of this gas pipe line project. What I mean to say is, that this is the best window of opportunity for Pakistan, during which NATO is totally dependent on us, for their peaceful withdrawal from Afghanistan, till December, 2014. (Any military strategist knows how fatal and difficult it is to withdraw from the war theatre while the war is on). As they say, don’t wait for the iron to be hot for striking, make it hot by striking. Such opportunities don’t even come to a small nation in centuries, when super powers are, at its total mercy, for a specific period of time.

In terms of comparison, it’s importance of economic and strategic benefits are no less equal to that of a big multi-purpose dam, like Kalabagh dam. The best part of this project is that it will be completed just by the end of December, 2014; and the gas will be utilized for the generation of 4000-5000 MW electricity.

This is the biggest gift (despite severe US pressure) the PPP government has given to the future generations of Pakistan. No doubt this reflects the vision and courage of the PPP leadership, which is equal to the agreement, late Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto signed with France, for the supply of Nuclear Reprocessing plant to Pakistan, despite most severe US pressures, against the plant. Here, I am again reminded of the famous threat given to ZAB by the US, when Henry Kissenger, told him that ZAB will be made an “horrible example” if, he doesn’t cancels the reprocessing plant’s agreement. However, like Tipu Sultan, late ZAB refused to compromise on national interest and preferred gallows over the principles and interst of the nation.

Since, the future energy requirements are a matter of life and death for Pakistan; and the US has banned all nuclear energy facilities for Pakistan, which it has allowed for India, despite its companies were caught supplying material for Iran’s nuclear plants; and we ruined our country for US imposed (fake) war on terror, I will appeal to all the Pakistani nation and the political parties to especially shun all the politics on this energy issue, and stand with the government, like a solid lead wall, for this project of immense national interest; just like all the parties stood with the government and the armed forces, when US led forces attacked our Salala post and martyred dozens of our soldiers, who were on the borders of Afghanistan, to fight the US WOT.

Nevertheless, anybody speaking against this energy project will be automatically exposed, as the ill-wisher of Pakistan.

It is once again reminded that originally, India was part of this gas line project, but later on backed out on the US pressure, for which the US (DOUBLY) rewarded India, by providing nuclear reactors for civilian energy requirements and exempted India from Iranian oil purchase sanctions. And, now the US wants to punish us for our support to its WOT in the same manner, when it confiscated our FULLY PAID F-16 fighter jets and even forced us to pay the storage charges of those planes, as well. This was the punishment given to Pakistan, for fighting and defeating the USSR, on behalf of USA.

This is a good omen, that given a chance, Pakistani democracy and its politicians are delivering for Pakistan. Just think about the benefits of the motorway way project completed by the PMLN government, under Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, by minusimagining how much backward Pakistan would have been in the 21st century, the motorway. Similarly, the coming generations will only be able to judge the benefits of the monumental Lahore Metro Bus project, visualized and completed by another DYNAMITE politician, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

It is hoped that this encouragement, will ferment a healthy competition among all the old and new politicians of Pakistan; and it will give an impetus to the new government, when after the coming elections they are voted in power by the people of Pakistan, to deliver, in a much more better and effective manner, for the poor teeming millions of the country, who have a big hope from the advent of democracy in Pakistan.

In fact, Pakistan has no other option, except democracy.

PPP, you must remain loyal, steadfast and stand for the cause of Pakistan and the nation will back you to the hilt.

SHAHBASH and Well done to our PPP government, in fact, this is your biggest gift to the nation.

It looks beyond Deputy Governor SBP, every person is OK. Why ECP is silent over the replacement of the governors of Sindh and Punjab?

We are at a loss to understand the reason, as to why the CT CM Punjab, has not yet visited the Mazaar of the national poet of Pakistan, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal Sahab?

“Life moves on, whether we act as cowards or heroes. Life has
no other discipline to impose, if we would but realize it,
than to accept life unquestioningly. Everything we shut our
eyes to, everything we run away from, everything we deny,
denigrate or despise, serves to defeat us in the end. What
seems nasty, painful, evil, can become a source of beauty,
joy, and strength, if faced with an open mind. Every moment is
a golden one for him who has the vision to recognize it as
such.”

Silence of Lambs

PMLN’s punch line in the Elections 2008, was based on anti Musharraf and anti dictatorship rhetoric.

Now for elections 2013, the silence of top PMLN leadership Viz a Viz the advent of so called absconding Musharraf, is really deafening. Not only this, but PMLN has welcomed all Musharraf die hard supporters with open arms. If this was to have been the case, then why PMLQ stalwarts were refused entry in PMLN, many years ago and why Asif Ali Zardari was criticised for forging an alliance with PMLQ?
This once again proves that morality and principles in politics, are a tool to mislead the people. Take it or leave it.
