Respected Shahryar Khan Sb. I hope the following report of Dawn published today is not correct and is denied by the PCB, else PCB looks like a laughing stock and in someone else’s control.

“It may also be mentioned here that a press release issued on Dec 27, 2014 by the PCB had clearly stated that Moin would only be part of the World Cup 2015 squad and not for the current tour of New Zealand. When contacted, a PCB official confirmed that Moin had left with the Pakistan team on Tuesday as the PCB chairman changed his earlier decision.”

My retort to Mr.Hamid Mir still remains un-replied..!

My retort to Mr.Hamid Mir still remains un-replied.

Hamid Mir Sahab, what you have written is an oft repeated fact, which looks more like a rhetoric, now.

Another side of this murder case, on which I have written many times, but you never included that part, neither in your TV programs, nor in your writings. And that part, pertains to the fact that in February 2012, this PPP government approached the Interpol, for arresting Pervaiz Musharraf, in the murder case of Benazir Bhutto. So far so good. However, in April 2012, when Pervaiz Musharraf visited China, our ambassador Mr. Masood Khan, accorded him official welcome and also gave an official dinner in his honour at the Embassy (all this at the expense of the Pakistani tax payer’s money). The question is, that if the ambassador accorded Pervaiz Musharraf all the protocol in China, without the permission of the PPP government, why he was not dismissed? And, why later on the same ambassador was bestowed with a national award and given the prime posting at the UNO, New York?

And, if all this protocol was awarded to Pervaiz Musharraf with the permission of the government of PPP in Pakistan, then why to ask the Interpol to arrest him on the charges of Benazir’s murder? PPP government it looks, is trying to use or misuse the name of Interpol, just to befool its people?

Hamid Mir Sahab, what is all this. The government of PPP can befool the PPP Jiyalas and the general public of Pakistan, but they can’t deceive the Interpol. As they say, you can fool some of the people for all the time, you can fool all the people for some of the time, but you can’t fool all the people, all the time.

However, Hamid Mir Sahab, the biggest disappointment in this case is your silence, on this particular issue.

It looks that everybody who has betrayed with the blood of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, is now doing a lip service, you included.

IPL verdict: Key observations made by SC.

Here are some of the key observations made by Supreme Court in the IPL spot-fixing case.
N. Sirinavasan can not contest BCCI elections till such time he has conflict of interest in CSK, wherein, in a meeting he chaired SN allowed IRS. 13 crore to CSK for match compensation.

Charges of cover-up against BCCI president-in-exile N Srinivasan not proved.

BCCI’s rule amendment of 6.2.4 which gave right to BCCI’s official to have stake in IPL is the main villain.

Conflict of interest in cricket leads to confusion.

It cannt be said with certainty there Srinivasan was involved in covering up role of Meyppan in betting scandal:

At most it can be said that there is suspicion againt Srinivasan for covering up

Raj Kundra and Gurunath’s role in betting stands proved

BCCI decision is amenable to judicial review

Not only players and team officials but franchise be also punished for misconduct

BCCI did not adhere to prescribed procedure while conduccting probe in IPL spot fixing scandal

SC holds that Kundra and Meiyappan are team officials

Amendment in BCCI rules allowing srinivasan to own IPL team is bad

Conflict of interest in cricket leads to great confusion

Amendment in 6.2.4 in BCCI rules is the real villian

Amendment negates the very essence of game

Make It Easier for Your Team to Keep Learning

Leaders want employees to continue to learn and develop new skills, but this wish will fall flat if people aren’t given extra support. You might encourage employees to sign up for extra training and courses, but not many people will have time to engage properly, or at all, if their workloads remain the same and their studying has to be done after hours. If you truly want to promote more learning among your team, start by giving people opportunities to develop at work. Give them stretch assignments and more autonomy. Make sure your team has access to the resources they need to learn and grow – including people. Use mentoring to connect younger stars with seasoned executives – both can learn from each other. Establish regular check-ins to provide feedback, and measure progress through 360s. You can also fuel development by giving rewards such as promotions and stock ownership.

“To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

HATE TO LOVE
Charmingly villainous
Imran Khan brought out my ambivalence as a journalist. The patriot in me wanted to see Imran’s team defeated; the critic in me conceded that he was a visionary. We often see people as black or white; Imran I saw as black and white. Quite like the boy Cardus, who prayed that England should bowl Australia out for 137 but that Victor Trumper should get a brilliant century
