How to checkmate (a position in which a player’s king is directly attacked by an opponent’s piece or pawn and has no possible move to escape the check. The attacking player thus wins the game) the Indians in Afghanistan?

No two countries in the world are so intertwined (entwine, interweave, interlace, interthread, interwind, intertwist, twist, coil, twirl, ravel, lace, braid, plait, knit) and at the same time posses such a high degree of acrimony as Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Surprisingly, despite having done so much for Afghanistan by Pakistan, the Indians are having so much hold in Afghanistan, as if, it is another province of India.

In my humble opinion, if Pakistan and Bangladesh have remained one nation in the past, Pakistan and Afghanistan can also be united into a confederation in the future.

However, to achieve this ambitious goal Pakistan will have to devise a plan of peace offensive, with lots of changes in military strategy and its domestic and foreign policies, considering that if, few Englishmen can slowly takeover the whole sub-continent, from as far as seven seas away, why can’t we succeed in convincing the Afghans that their history, geography, economy, military power, religion, peoples relations, language, foods, sports, marriages and their emancipation, development and growth and each and every aspect of life, is not only naturally connected with Pakistan, but is interdependent of both the countries.

It is wrong to say that we are two countries. In fact, we are one nation of the same religion and traditions, in almost a border less geography.

So, it is OUR sheer failure, that despite so much commonalities, we are dagger drawn with each other and Afghanistan is sitting in the lap of the Indians.

We must remember that winning over Afghanistan is even more important and vital than even the CPEC.

As such, under a well thought out strategy, we should also offer Pakistani citizenship to all the registered Afghan refugees and allow visa free travel, on reciprocal basis, on the lines of the EU nations.

If we succeed in removing all the impressions of the false propaganda against Pakistan, embedded in the minds of some people in Afghan population, by the enemies of Pakistan, it will usher in a new era of emancipation of the teeming millions of both the countries.

Moreover, if this plan succeeds, slowly and gradually we can also move towards a confederation, which if materialised, will have immense potential to be an economic and strategic game changer, for the whole region.

As such, the government must immediately form a high level and powerful task force, to plan and execute this bold and shrewd peace offensive, towards our extremely important neighbour, with whom we share innumerable common factors.

While concluding, we must remember that if Afghanistan is getting distanced from Pakistan and getting nearer to India, it is SOLELY our fault. Further, in order to achieve the impossible, it is precisely the unthinkable, must be thought.

Pakistan Paindabad.
